The shield that Captain America used in Avengers 4 is now being auctioned off

Hake's Auctions announced that they are auctioning off the shields used by Captain America in 2019's Avengers: Endgame.

Alex Winter, president of Hake's, said in a statement:

"It's an absolute must-have for any Captain America fan and a rare opportunity to get marvel cinematic universe hero items that have been used on screen."

So far, the U.S. team's shield has been bid six times, and the price is now $45,000.

The auction house's official description of the shield goes like this:

Hake's Auctions is proud to offer the prop shield that Chris Evans used in Avengers: Endgame, auction number 233.

Created by Marvel Studios Senior Prop Master Russell Bobbitt, the shield is 24 inches in diameter and about 3 inches deep, made of high-density foam, made of aluminum on the outside and handmade leather hand strap on the inside.

30 to 40 shields were made for Endgame, but this shield was used in close-up shots in Evans' hands because it showed the most detail and its spun aluminum surface also presented a mesmerizing metallic sheen.

Other prop shields made for Endgame are used in long shots and action scenes, as well as in scenes before the shields associated with special effects are damaged.

It seems that after Sam Wilson held it, it was definitely not this side.

The shield is indeed very collectible, except for the expensive, there is really nothing wrong with it.
