"The Great Road To the West - The Second China Oil Painting Exhibition (2021)" is co-sponsored by the China Oil Painting Society, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Gansu Province, and the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Gansu Province, and organized by the Propaganda Department of the LANZHOU Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Oil Painting Society of Gansu Province, the Oil Painting Art Committee of the Beijing Artists Association, the Gansu Sanjing Culture and Media Co., Ltd., the Gansu Jianmu Museum, and the Lanzhou Yellow River Ecotourism Development Group Co., Ltd.
With the theme of character creation, this exhibition is open to the collection of excellent oil paintings from all over the country. After several rounds of voting, the judges selected 268 exhibited works from the shortlisted works for re-evaluation, including 5 academic award works and 13 excellent award works.

About the Author
Wang Sung-ming
Born in Guizhou in 1984.
Graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Northeast Normal University in 2012.
In 2014, he graduated from the "Western Youth Creation Advanced Research Class" of the China Artists Association.
In 2019, he graduated from the "Advanced Training Class for Young Oil Painting Creation Talents" of the China Oil Painting Society.
He is currently an associate professor at the School of Fine Arts of Guizhou University for Nationalities.
