According to foreign media reports, the well-known American host Larry King died at the age of 87. In the new year, several media reported that he was hospitalized for COVID-19 infection, and on January 4, his spokesman said he had been out of the intensive care unit. On Jan. 23, Larry King's personal Twitter account posted the news of his death at a Los Angeles hospital, without revealing the cause of his death.
Larry King has been in the hosting industry for more than 60 years and is one of America's most famous interviewers for people, interviewing countless people. He has his own shows, "Larry King Show," "Larry King Now," and more, with Larry King Live lasting 25 years (1985-2010), setting a Guinness World Record, and in the late 1990s, the show received more than 1.5 million regular viewers per night.
His talk show was the world's first television talk show to receive calls from a global audience and the highest-rated show on the entire network. Larry King, a Winner of the Emmy Award, has written numerous books and has been dubbed "the best talk show host in television history" by TV Guide magazine and "Microphone Overlord" by Time Magazine.
