Citizens are numb in bathing
A check of the gas pipeline turned out to be charged
Multi-departmental overnight inspections initially eliminate dangerous situations
Recently, the reporter learned from the Changsha Emergency Management Bureau that at 6 p.m. on October 22, they received a report from the masses of the Lotus Community in Tianxin District, Changsha, that there was a phenomenon of electricity in the gas pipeline of a residential building in the community.
Residents of Lotus Community said that the natural gas pipeline has been charged for a period of time, and some residents of the previous 9 buildings will have a tingling sensation when using gas water heaters to bathe, and everyone thinks that the water heater is leaking electricity and has not attracted attention. It wasn't until the evening of October 22 that residents noticed that electricity was also on the gas pipeline.

On the evening of October 22, the Changsha Emergency Management Bureau organized a comprehensive inspection of 9 buildings in the community, including ENN Gas, the State Grid and the three major communication operators. The voltage on the measured pipe reaches 110 volts. They first shut down the gas and power in the community, and emptied the gas in the pipeline, and then comprehensively checked the 9 strong and weak power lines.
By the early morning of October 23, power was restored when all the gas was exhausted. At 2 p.m. on the 23rd, the power supply company reported that two lines were not built according to the standard, resulting in damage to the line and leakage of electricity, and then excluded the dangerous situation here. At present, the gas in the community is still in a suspended state, and all lines will be further checked on the next rainy day to ensure absolute safety and then restore gas supply. The newly opened paved streets will also uniformly install leakage protection devices in view of the aging of the residential lines.

The stove burn is obviously damaged Free replacement of the stove
The safe service life of gas appliances is generally 6-8 years
There are hidden dangers in the overdue service of gas appliances
The urban management department recommended a replacement
The Changsha Municipal Chengguan Bureau said that in order to ensure the safety of gas use, the Chengguan Bureau has requested to strengthen gas safety inspections. The urban management department reminds that gas appliances have a safe service life, and it is best for the public to replace the gas appliances that are used beyond the time limit.
In the home of this resident in the Jiang Jia'an Community in Kaifu District, their stove was wiped very clean, but the flame mouth on one side had been significantly damaged due to long-term burning. On October 25, the staff changed the stove free of charge.
The safe service life of gas stoves and gas water heaters is generally 6-8 years, and the failure rate of parts and components of gas appliances above this age will be greatly improved, which is easy to cause various gas accidents. However, because the state has not issued a mandatory scrapping standard for gas appliances, it is common for many families to use gas appliances for more than 10 years.
The Changsha Municipal Urban Management Bureau said that the fourth quarter is the peak period of gas consumption and an important window period for supervision and law enforcement. Law enforcement departments in all districts should strengthen law enforcement supervision of gas safety management, especially increase supervision and inspection of liquefied gas sites, and handle and report typical cases in a timely manner。
