The body of the pot adopts the structure of the upper and lower combination, and the flat round shape of the pot body is divided into ribs, which are plum petal-shaped, and the pieces are clearly organized. The lid is also made into a flower shape, which fits the flower mouth, and the whole vessel line is full and plump. The midriff bulges outward, full of tension and is very beautiful. The mouth, handle, and button are all made of vigorous plum rods, and the body and lid of the pot are decorated with curved plum petals. Born in 1967 in Yixing Fan's pottery family, the "Da Sheng Jug" has been passed down for four generations. In 1984, he entered the Second Purple Sand Factory, and was personally taught by senior craftsman Wu Tongfen, and also studied under the Masters of Chinese Arts and Crafts Xu Hantang and Ji Yishun. With his own diligent efforts, he has developed a comprehensive pot-making technique, which is becoming more and more skilled and changeable. The creations are well loved and praised by pottery lovers and collectors for their smooth lines, novel expressions and delicate depictions. Over the years, new products have been stacked and won the industry's authoritative evaluation awards. He studied in the advanced training class of the China Academy of Fine Arts, and now graduated from the Southern Normal University with a bachelor's degree in engineering and art. Over the years, he and his brother Fan Weiqun have held many pot art exchange and promotion activities at home and abroad, which have been highly praised by collectors and friends at home and abroad, and have contributed to the promotion of Yixing purple sand.
