Wanjing Town, Ningyuan County, held a village-level calligraphy and painting exhibition

Full of walls of calligraphy and painting works, full of courtyard ink and incense, absorbing many calligraphy lovers to come to observe.

Since ancient times, Duoshan Village in Wanjing Town has advocated poetry and book heirlooms, and the culture of cultivation and reading has prevailed, and there have been 5 jinshi in the Ming and Qing dynasties. A number of calligraphers and painters such as Ji Boda and Ji Yuanren are well-known in Sanxiang and Sishui, especially the calligraphy of Jinshi Ji Mengxiong during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty has been praised by the emperor and is known as the "Ten Talents of Jiangnan".

In recent years, Duoshan Village, Wanjing Town, Ningyuan County, relying on local traditional cultural resources, has made every effort to build a famous calligraphy and painting village. The village has built a rural academy, set up a calligraphy and painting studio, and took the lead in establishing a village-level calligraphers and painters association in the province, with more than 200 members. Teaching classes are held every month, and the key members take turns to teach voluntarily. At present, more than 760 of the more than 2,300 villagers in the village are practicing calligraphy and painting diligently. Calligraphy and painting enthusiasts range from elderly people who are over the age of one to schoolchildren aged seven or eight. The village also runs its own calligraphy and painting exhibition and calligraphy competition every year, and the "Duoshan Village Peasant Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" has been held for two consecutive years, with a total of more than 900 calligraphy and fine art works exhibited. Among them, nearly 100 works have won awards in provinces and cities.
