I once told a story that the legendary osmanthus tree was flooded, and Guanyin Bodhisattva passed the story of a person who walked here today.
The osmanthus tree is the junction of Gong'an County and Songzi City, and on the other side of the river is Li County, Hunan Province.
The place visited today is called Wangjia Great Lake, which reached an area of 108 square kilometers at the beginning of the liberation period, and was formed by the great floods of the 1930s, and the osmanthus trees were roughly destroyed at that time.
Now my hometown Hubei Gong'an County Hongfeng Village is also the location of the Wangjia Great Lake, Songzi County Paper Mill River Town before and after the liberation of bandits rampant, bandits wreaked havoc on the ruins until after 1980 are still there, after several generations of unremitting efforts, around the lake reclamation, now wangjia lake only 6.7 square kilometers of area left.
Passing by this osmanthus tree, once a famous amphibious dock in the Ming and Qing dynasties, when I was a child, this was still a bustling street market, and when I was thirteen years old, I rode my bicycle alone to the osmanthus tree to buy fertilizer for my family. Nowadays, it is dilapidated, it is difficult to get a mobile phone signal here, and it is necessary to buy a water or the WiFi of the Unicom store to pay. Because it is located at the junction of the two counties, the interests of Songzi are greater than the interests of Gong'an County, Andong County has abandoned the construction of osmanthus trees, and the development of transportation has made the past water and land docks vain, and the villagers of nearby Gong'an County rarely go to the osmanthus trees to do business. It can be said that the osmanthus tree was destroyed by floods in the past, and the present dynasty was completely eliminated by the times.
As for the Wang Family Great Lake, this is completely a complex. When I was young, I often told my little nephew that we would go back to the Wang family's big lake, in fact, there really wasn't any lake in the village where my hometown was located. Wangjia Great Lake already had only a few remnants of reeds in Hongfeng Village. Today to visit our so-called hometown Wangjia Great Lake, you see, on the left bank of the water, seven kilometers away, a vast water surface in the distance.
On the way back, we will find wild vegetables and mushrooms along the banks of the Shuishui River. The foot stroke is much slower. The last picture is called the Fahua Temple Sluice. This place has passed through countless times, but the most impressive one was the summer vacation of 1985, when I picked the oranges in my home to sell here, and my junior high school teachers Li Degang and Ma Xiangcai walked from afar, and I hid behind the gate with oranges, and finally I didn't see two good teachers...
