At 9:40 a.m. on July 11, with the slow fall of the last hole of the simple support beam, the "Kunlun" bridge erection machine completed the erection of all the 298 holes and 40 meters of box girder of the Meizhou Bay Bridge of the Fuxia High-speed Railway, and the debut of the world's first 1,000-ton bridge all-in-one machine came to a perfect end, marking that this high-speed railway connecting mountains and seas is about to usher in the key node of the whole bridge and Dragon.

Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway is China's first cross-sea high-speed railway, of which the Meizhou Bay Special Bridge is an important control project of the whole line, and it is also the pilot line of the first batch of high-speed railway 40-meter box girder erection in China. Meizhou Bay is located in the middle of the coast of Fujian Province, accompanied by bad weather such as rainy season, strong winds and typhoons all year round, and the construction of a simple support box girder bridge with a larger span and larger tonnage can effectively reduce the number of piers, increase the adaptability of bridge span layout, and improve the production efficiency of engineering construction.

The research and development application of the "Kunlun" thousand-ton bridge all-in-one machine has turned this possibility into a reality. It is understood that the "Kunlun" thousand-ton bridge all-in-one machine led by the Tiewu Academy can meet the erection needs of different spans such as 24 meters, 32 meters and 40 meters, and show the advantages of "all-round players" in the process of erecting the Meizhou Bay Bridge, effectively saving project costs, shortening the construction period of the project, and ensuring the smooth progress of bridge construction.

The successful application of the "Kunlun" thousand-ton bridge all-in-one machine marks a major improvement in the construction of China's high-speed railway. In the next step, the "Kunlun" will also continue to move to the construction of the Hangzhou-Quzhou high-speed railway, helping to build a marginal garden city cluster in the four provinces of Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian and Gansu.
