At the scene, he saw hundreds of red literary and artistic works, including the portrait of the martyr Gu Guantao, his father-in-law, and the old man was excited.

The son-in-law and grandson of martyr Gu Guantao looked up at the portrait of the martyr.
On the same day, the 9th "A Hundred Flowers Blooming in the New Era" series of cultural activities and the Shanghai Minhang Red Culture and Art Exhibition in Minhang District opened. The exhibition launched a total of 83 groups of nearly 100 works, divided into three parts: the first part is "Remembering the Glory of the Glory Years and Telling the Red Story", which is mainly the reproduction of historical scenes, historical events, and memorial sites; the second part is "Tribute to the Heroic Martyrs and Dialogue with History", mainly the poems, family letters, portraits of martyrs, etc.; the third part is "Passing on the Century-old Style, Building a Thousand Autumns and Great Causes", mainly the inheritance of the descendants of the heroes and the commemoration activities of all sectors of society.
According to reports, Minhang is located in the suburbs of Shanghai, with a special cultural environment and historical accumulation, and the resources of red culture are very rich. In different revolutionary historical periods, there have been many legendary stories of revolutionary struggle in Minhang, many major historical events in revolutionary struggle, and 288 revolutionary heroes have emerged, which is an indispensable and important part of Shanghai's red culture.
In order to greet the centenary of the founding of the party, the Minhang District Federation of Literature and Art began to prepare for the "Shanghai Minhang Red Culture and Art Exhibition" in the second half of last year, through excavating, collecting and combing the red cultural resources in the Minhang area for artistic creation, using fine arts, calligraphy, photography, paper-cutting, audio, video and other art forms to express them, in order to praise the history of the party, pay tribute to revolutionary martyrs, carry forward red culture, and inherit red genes.
All the works on display are original, the theme is clear, the art is diverse, and the overall concept is full of creativity. Each work is equipped with a detailed text description, revealing the provenance and historical connotation of the work, and the audio and video can also be viewed by scanning the two-dimensional code.
It is understood that after the exhibition in Chunshen Cultural Square, the Shanghai Minhang Red Culture and Art Exhibition will also tour the streets of all towns in the district, which will become a vivid classroom for Minhang citizens to learn and relive the history of the party.
The opening of this exhibition marks the official opening of the ninth "A Hundred Flowers Blooming in the New Era" series of cultural activities in Minhang District, and will successively launch 28 literary and artistic performances, 20 art exhibitions and cultural seminars, and 10 art lectures.
