King Ship Mountain
Wang Fuzhi (1619-1692), Han Chinese, character and nong, number Jiang Zhai, also known as Chuanshan. Born in Hengzhou (present-day Yanfeng District, Hengyang City) in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, he lived in seclusion near ShichuanShan in Jinlan (now Qulan Town) in Hengyang County, so later scholars honored him as Mr. Chuanshan. Together with Huang Zongxi and Gu Yanwu, he was known as the three major thinkers of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. The Guangxu Emperor of the Qing Dynasty decreed that it be enshrined in the Confucius Temple, and since then it has officially become one of the sages of the Chinese nation.

Liu Ba
Liu Ba (184-222 AD), courtesy name Zichu, was a native of Yanyang County, Lingling County, Jingzhou (present-day Hengyang County, Hunan Province), and a famous scholar during the Three Kingdoms period. Less known for his boldness and talent. At the age of eighteen, Liu Ba was the chief recorder of cao shi of Lingling households. Liu Biao, the pastor of Jingzhou, wanted to promote him many times, and recommended him as "Mao Cai", and he was recruited many times, but he could not resign.

Chang Dachun (1792~1853) was a qing dynasty minister from Hengyang County, Hengzhou. Daoguang entered the priesthood for three years, selected Shu Jishi, taught editing, and moved the imperial history.

Peng Yulin
Peng Yulin (1816-1890), also spelled Xueqin, was born in Anqing Province, Anhui Province (present-day Anqing City), an ancestor of Hengyang County, Hengyang County, Hengzhou Prefecture, Hengyong Province. A famous politician, military figure, calligrapher and painter of the Qing Dynasty, known as Xue Shuai. Together with Zeng Guofan and Zuo Zongtang, he was called the Three Masters of the Qing Dynasty, and together with Zeng Guofan, Zuo Zongtang and Hu Linyi, he was called the four famous ministers of Zhongxing, the founder of the Xiang Army Marine Division, and the founder of the modern Chinese Navy.

Zeng Xi (1861.11.19 ~1930.7.4) was the owner of the First Character Si Yuan, more characters Zi Ji, Ji Zi, No. Kwun Yuan, Late No. Ungnang, And Master of Shanhai Building. A native of Hengyang County, Hengzhou Prefecture (present-day Shishi Village, Shishi Township, Hengyang County, Hengyang City). Born in Shishi Village, Shishi Township, Hengyang County, he died in Shanghai and was buried in Da Tang Village, Shishi Township, Hengyang County, Hengyang City. He is an outstanding calligrapher, painter and educator in China, and a leading figure in Haipai calligraphy and painting.

Xia Minghan
Xia Minghan, the character Guigen, ancestral home of Lizi Township, Hengyang County, was born in 1900 in the eighth month of the lunar calendar in Zigui, Hubei Province. "It doesn't matter if you behead, as long as the doctrine is true." Kill Xia Minghan, and the people who came after him! This is a magnificent poem written by Xia Minghan, a member of the Communist Party of China, before he was killed by the Kuomintang reactionaries, and has always been praised by people.

Zhu Shaolian
Zhu Shaolian (1887-1929) was originally named Zhu Tianzi, Han Ying, Xiaolian, a native of Qulan, Hengyang County. One of the early leaders of the Chinese workers' movement. In 1921, he served as the chief driver of the driving department of the Zhuping Railway Administration, and in the winter of the same year, he met Mao Zedong and Li Lisan in Anyuan and joined the Chinese Socialist Youth League. In January 1922, he assisted Li Lisan in running a civilian night school, and in February he joined the Communist Party of China. When he returned to Anyuan on January 4, 1929, he was arrested by Kuomintang agents, and he was unyielding and strictly confidential. On January 8, he bravely rebelled outside the Great West Gate of Pingxiang.

He graduated from the sixth phase of the Whampoa Military Academy (1927) and later stayed on to teach. Later, he graduated from the Central Aviation School and the CSKA University.
