Carrying a camera bag with cameras, lenses and flashes hidden in it, he appeared in Tianyi Square and the Drum Tower area, sweeping the streets and taking pictures, which is what 73-year-old Dai Pengfei often does in his leisure time.
Since entering Ningbo University for the Aged to study photography in 2014, Dai Pengfei feels that his life is getting more and more fulfilling.
"Beginner, intermediate, advanced, seminar... I studied photography at the University of the Elderly for 4 years, bought 40,000 to 50,000 yuan of equipment, and successively joined the Ningbo Photographers Association and the Haishu District Photographers Association. After retiring, Dai Pengfei hopes to use his residual heat and capture some beautiful moments.
In terms of shooting subjects, Dai Pengfei tends to show some beautiful scenery of cities and villages, as well as pictures of the people's beautiful and happy times, "The Gulou Street and Zhongshan Community where my community is located, but whenever there are some important activities, meetings and the like, I will go to shoot and then provide the original film to them, which is also considered to serve the society!" Dai Pengfei said.

This time, after learning that the Municipal Civilization Office held a "In Ningbo, See Civilized China" photography competition, Dai Pengfei selected a group that was more in line with the theme from the works taken this year and submitted articles to the competition.
A photo, titled "Orderly," was taken on January 8 this year outside a restaurant along the Drum Tower, and although the weather was cold, more than 10 citizens lined up outside the restaurant in an orderly manner, waiting for dinner, and none of them cut in line.
"It was noon that day, the light and shadow of the sun illuminated everyone warmly, and everyone's shadow was reflected on the ground, looking more neat and orderly, which is exactly in line with the concept of civilized queuing that Ningbo is promoting." Dai Pengfei introduced the intention of the shooting.
Another photo, which he named "It's good to stay in Ningbo", was also taken in the Drum Tower.
On January 30, in front of the Drum Tower, a group of migrant workers who responded to the government's call to celebrate the New Year in Ningbo took a group photo in front of the camera holding the Word "Fu" and the Spring Festival, leaving a warm moment.
Originally, this is the Haishu District Photographers Association to carry out the "stay in Ningbo is very good" as the theme of the public welfare photography activities site, the association's volunteers went deep into the community, streets, enterprises, etc., for a large number of migrant workers and their families to take a group photo, everyone in the photo is smiling, enjoy the happiness of staying in Ningbo For the New Year.
"I think this photo reflects two aspects, one is to show the sense of belonging of migrant workers, and the other is to show our concern for them in Ningbo." Many people are taking photos in front of Ningbo's landmark buildings for the first time, which is exactly the love that our civilized city has given them. Dai Pengfei said, "They feel from the bottom of their hearts that it is really good to stay in Ningbo!" ”

"Most of the pictures I took were these beautiful and warm pictures, and the theme of this competition was 'Civilized Ningbo', and I think the two are very compatible." Dai Pengfei smiled.
