On June 5, at the launch of the new book "Instant: Return to the Red Scene in Zhejiang" held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, Qiu Shi, a teacher at the Party School of the Fenghua District Party Committee of Ningbo City, and four others took a group photo in front of a painting.
These four people came from all over Zhejiang and had never known each other before, but their predecessors were all friends of the Zhejiang Army Prison. Behind them are the paintings of their predecessors who died in the revolutionary years.
Qiu is the younger uncle of Qiu Guhuai, a martyr who served as the acting secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League in 1928. Qiu Guhuai graduated from the Whampoa Military Academy, participated in the Nanchang Uprising, and died in the Zhejiang Army Prison in 1930 at the age of 25.
"When you win, please don't forget us!" Before his sacrifice, he left such a moving last word.
Since the day he was imprisoned, Qiu Guhuai has put his life and death aside. In prison, he secretly established a special branch of the Communist Party of China, served as a propaganda committee member, and organized prisoners to carry out struggles on many occasions. Before his execution, he wrote a suicide note on the ground and calmly went to his death.

Qiu Guhuai wrote: "I am satisfied that I died for the truth, but unfortunately I have done too little work in the past, and it is too late to make up for it" "Seeing that every comrade does not have any fear when he is righteous", "When victory comes, please do not forget us"...
"I remember the first time I read this letter, my eyes were wet with tears." More than ninety years later, Qiu wrote a family letter for his uncle Qiu Guhuai that could never be delivered. In the letter, he summed up Qiu Guhuai's life as follows: "In the past, I didn't know the country boy, and I heard the Tao in the academy. The tiger hero is a hundred steels, and the ambition is not rewarded with broken wings."

But for many years, Qiu Wei has always had a question in his heart: How did Qiu Guhuai's suicide note of martyr Qiu Guhuai circulate from prison?
After many investigations, in the 1953 book "In Prison" published by the writer Wan Zheng, Qiu found a clue, which described the struggle of the martyrs in prison and the details of the suicide note.
It turned out that after Qiu Guhuai's sacrifice at that time, the refugee friends memorized his suicide note word by word, one friend was sacrificed, and the next friend was carried, and everyone agreed that as long as anyone was released from prison, they would recite this suicide note to the party.
In the end, after the release of his friend Chen Wei, who was imprisoned in the army prison, he brought this suicide note to the party organization, so that it can be passed down to this day and has endured for a long time.
Qiu Shi told reporters that in addition to Qiu Guhuai's suicide note to the party, there was also a suicide note from his fellow prisoners to his eldest brother: "In the letter, the uncle asked the family not to tell his mother about his sacrifice, so that she would not be sad. ”
Since Qiu Guhuai left home for the last time in 1928, for more than 20 years, his mother has not waited for her young son. It was not until 1949, when the local people's government sent a plaque to the Qiu family, that Qiu's mother knew that her favorite young son would never come back. Less than a month later, Qiu Guhuai's 80-year-old mother died of depression.
Now, in his spare time, Qiu is always collecting and sorting out documents related to Qiu Guhuai, "Maybe these things should have been done by the children and grandchildren of the uncle, but unfortunately, he did not even leave a child." ”
Also in prison, along with Qiu Guhuai and others, led the struggle with martyr Xu Ying, the fifth secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial CPC Committee. On the same day, Xu Ying's granddaughter Xu Yanfang also came to the release site. Spanning more than 90 years, the descendants of the martyrs have gathered again, which is of great significance.
Xu Yanfang is now a full-time docent of the Xu Ying Martyrs Memorial Hall, and she has to talk about her grandfather's deeds and spirit several times a day.
"Although my grandfather's short and heroic life was only 24 years, and my father was only a year old when he died, his spirit is the eternal treasure of our family." Xu Ying hopes to tell such stories and spirits to thousands of people, from generation to generation.
Among the descendants of the martyrs who came to the scene on the same day, the martyr Zhang Qiuren, the former secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, also had no children. His nephew Zhang Lijiang told reporters that Zhang Qiuren, who was appointed secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China during the "White Terror" period, was arrested and imprisoned only 4 days later, and died in Hangzhou in 1928 at the age of 30.
After being recognized by the West Lake, the secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, who had only been there for a day, jumped into the West Lake and dived into the bottom of the lake to bury the important documents he carried with him in the mud, but he was unfortunately arrested.
"Before coming to Zhejiang to take office, Zhang Qiuren said that he was likely to die here, because there were too many people in Zhejiang who knew him. But even so, he still had no hesitation. Zhang Lijiang believes that Zhang Qiuren has been a revolutionary who has been "hard-hitting" all his life.
On the same day, Zhuo Wute, the grandson of the martyr Zhuo Lanfang, the former secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, brought his daughter to the scene of the event. "My grandfather was 30 years old when he died, and my daughter is also 30 years old this year, which is a meaningful dialogue through time and space," he said. ”
In those days, the martyrs cried out before their sacrifices, "Please do not forget us when we are victorious."
Now, through a hundred years of time and space, later people have given the answer: "How can we forget?"
