On October 26th, at the signing ceremony of the pairing and joint construction of the Xuhui Street Town Youth League Committee and the Youth League Committee of the University College and the launching ceremony of the Xuhui Street Town Government Affairs Internship Project sponsored by the three colleges and universities of the Xuhui Youth League Committee and the Youth Development District School Linkage Platform, 13 college students from Fudan, East China Institute of Technology and Shangwai were successfully paired with 13 towns, and were hired as the part-time secretary of the Youth League Working Committee of the street town on the spot, and were "adopted" one by one. In the next six months, these college students will participate in community governance through online and offline methods, bringing the latest youth wisdom to the community.
College students incarnate as regimental cadres, hoping to bring new vitality to the community
Tang Rui, a junior in political science and administration from the School of International Relations and Public Affairs at Shanghai University of Foreign Chinese, and another classmate were selected from the middle level of more than a dozen enrolled students. This time, the street she worked on was Xujiahui Street.
At the scene, she showed a photo she accidentally took some time ago at an intersection in Xuhui District. She told reporters that last year, she followed the graduate students of the school's urban grassroots governance research center to conduct in-depth research on the big city garden in Changshou Road Street, Putuo District, the community governance promotion center, and the environmentally friendly social organizations in Pudong New Area. She learned more about the main organizational structure of Shanghai Streets and Towns and the coordinated operation mode of the "troika", gained a lot of advanced experience in community governance, and realized the importance of grass-roots community governance.
Previously, Tang Rui also did a project, learned about the famous volunteer service team in Xuhui District, the "green housewives" of Meilong Three Villages, transformed the famous "garbage three villages" into "garden three villages", and improved the efficiency of community management through the establishment of the "Green Housewives" council. She hopes to take advantage of this internship opportunity to conduct in-depth research, not only to dig deep into Xu Hui's excellent experience in grassroots governance, but also to find problems and solve problems during this period.
Wu Xiaojing, a junior at Fudan University Law School, docked with a sloping street this time. Before working part-time, she learned from the former secretary and found that the activities carried out by a grass-roots regiment cadre were quite colorful.
Wu Xiaojing said that if curiosity and expectation, learning and practicing are the initial motivations for participation, then taking root in the grassroots and building cities is the eternal mission of contemporary youth.
District-school linkage promotes more students to empower the community
Scanning the two-dimensional code to introduce the situation of the community, at the scene, Ming Xiaoxiang, secretary of the Tianlin Street Youth League Working Committee, led a college student from East China Polytechnic back.
In order to let the part-time new secretary grasp the situation in the community as soon as possible, he shared his understanding of youth work in the community. "We must see more, listen to more research, call the 'pulse' of youth work in the community, and be familiar with the 'signs' of community youth."
What made Ming Xiaoxiang feel happy was that the new secretary he brought back was a professional counterpart from the Marxist Academy, and the direction of his research was the work of the Young Workers' Committee. "In the future, she can participate in basic team work, and she can also organize various special activities that teenagers like in combination with the theme of 'double reduction'."
According to Huang Wenbin, deputy secretary of the Xuhui Youth League District Committee, from now until the eve of the winter vacation, these new part-time deputy secretaries of the Youth League Working Committee will spend at least one day a week to participate in community affairs offline, and the rest of the time can be flexibly participated in online. During the winter break, they need to work full-time.
Huang Wenbin told reporters that in the promotion of the new round of government affairs internship projects, a corresponding operational, generalizable and replicable assessment system has been established, for example, fudan university's government affairs apprentice work guidelines have determined the "six ones" target task: participate in a youth volunteer work project; carry out a community theory publicity; conduct a monthly work exchange report; complete a quarterly internship briefing; complete an internship debriefing report; and form a civil affairs log. In the process of summarizing and refining, the young students were successfully allowed to think quietly about the sinking community and experience the whole process of the grass-roots league organization work and the facts of the project.
In the next step, the Xuhui Youth League District Committee will also continue to give full play to the role of the youth development zone school linkage platform, promote more league organizations to pair up and build together, and pioneer and innovate in the whole district.
