This is just the third year of graduate school, Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, Baidu, Meituan, JD.com, Kuaishou, Shopee and other Internet giants have "turned" to Wenze, waiting for his choice.
And the same is next year's graduation, the autumn trick that belongs to Ci Wei is still undecided. Although she has already received an offer from Alibaba, in order to settle in Shanghai, she decided to fight until October.
<h5>"Except for the head factory, other offers are all here to make up numbers</h5>."
This year's autumn moves of Internet manufacturers have begun in July and August, earlier than in previous years, and the intention of robbing people is obvious. Alibaba, Tencent, Xiaomi and ByteDance all called this year "the largest school recruitment in history."
Among them, Alibaba plans to open 113 positions, with 45 kinds of positions recruiting fresh graduates for the first time; Tencent opened more than 7,000 offers, an increase of more than 40% year-on-year; Xiaomi launched the largest campus recruitment in the 11 years since its establishment, and the number of recruits will exceed 5,000 for the first time; ByteDance will provide more than 8,000 offers, an increase of 30% over last autumn, a record high.
For the "Versailles" results of brushing 8 offers, Wenze is not without psychological preparation. He will graduate next year from the Computer Research Institute of a well-known university in Beijing, and has been interning at ByteDance near the institute for more than half a year.
In the "early approval" interview of Tencent Autumn Recruitment, Byte's internship can be directly "endorsed". Wenze Qiuzhao's first choice is Tencent's technical post. He is often "Amway" by his teachers and brothers, with outstanding salary, good working atmosphere, and no overtime culture.
A fresh graduate who got the BAT autumn offer this year told Times Finance that after getting the offer from the head factory, the offers of other families are generally to make up the number, so as to increase the chips for negotiating wages.
Wenze's classmates and intern partners in the same period have also brushed the offers of Internet manufacturers in the autumn this year. Those who do not go to the Internet factory will choose between state-owned enterprises and foreign enterprises.
It is understood that the enrollment of graduate degree technical schools into the Internet factory, the general expectation of annual salary of more than 300,000 yuan. Some companies will also provide additional benefits such as stocks, options, signing fees, rental subsidies, etc., and the calculation method of year-end bonuses and provident funds are also factors that fresh graduates need to consider.
According to the experience of previous years, the technical posts of Tencent and Ali are the most popular. Taking Tencent as an example, it can provide 5 gears of salary for technical fresh graduates, with an annual salary of up to nearly 600,000 yuan, and the work intensity is reasonable and the rest is double. Secondly, it is Meituan, ByteDance, etc., and the salary space for fresh graduates is lower, ranging from 350,000 to 500,000 yuan. Then there are NetEase, Sina, Sohu and so on.
What is the concept that fresh graduates who enter the Internet factory can get an annual salary of nearly 600,000 yuan? According to the "2021 College Student Employability Survey Report" released by Zhaopin in May this year, the expected monthly salary distribution of fresh graduates is focused on the range of 4,000 to 6,000 yuan, and the annual salary is only 48,000 to 72,000 yuan, which is not in an order of magnitude compared with the Internet factory.
"A person's fate depends not only on individual efforts, but also on the development of the times." Wen Ze admired this sentence. After graduating from the physics department of 985 colleges and universities, he clearly saw that the Internet factory can share the dividends of the times and provide opportunities for young people. Therefore, at the graduate level, he chose to pursue a computer major.
<h5>Under the largest autumn recruitment, the admission rate has not increased significantly</h5>
Although all the Internet manufacturers shouted out the "largest autumn recruitment" this year, in the view of Ci Wei, an Alibaba intern who got an offer from a regular employee, the admission rate has not increased significantly, and there is also a situation of "8 people (interns) only entering 3 people" in some department operation posts.
Ci Wei studied marketing at a 985 university in Shanghai. In June this year, she began an internship as a product manager in The Xixi Park of Alibaba in Hangzhou, and in mid-to-late August, she received an offer for the intention of autumn recruitment through the rightful reply.
For Ci Wei, who once wanted to enter the consulting industry, internet giants are now a promising and reachable choice: starting from Alibaba, not only has a stable income and the aura of the world's top 500, but also the work content is more exercised. "Compared with the early days of luxury leading enterprises that could only serve tea and pour water, Alibaba's work content with OKR (self-driven) as the goal is more growing."
Since the first year of graduate school, CiWei has been an internship and brushed the resumes of major Internet manufacturers. From Didi and ByteDance to Meituan, Baidu, and then to Alibaba, by delving into job search forums and intern communities, she not only cultivated herself into a "face bully", but also spread her experience in face (interview experience) and resume packaging through social accounts.
Currently, she works with friends to "run" an Internet job search community, monetizing business through content payments such as mock interview training.
Higher pay also means more competitors. Seemingly influenced by Ci Wei, many of her graduate students have also shifted their job search goals from the luxury and FMCG industries, where mostly foreign companies are, to the emerging Internet industry. Ci Wei estimated that 7 or 8 of the 10 students in the class had chosen the Internet factory in the autumn recruitment intention.
<h5>The resume submission stage has already been "internal volume"</h5>
Unlike Wen Ze, Ci Wei's "autumn move" is not over. She is also fighting for jobs in Shanghai for Internet giants such as ByteDance, Meituan and Pinduoduo. Ci Wei wants to settle in Shanghai after graduation, because Shanghai has more room for development than Hangzhou.
But at present, Ali's autumn offer salary can at least be guaranteed. A fresh graduate who received an offer from Alibaba Qiuzhao said that the income of 21k to 22k per month (21,000 to 22,000 yuan per month before tax) and 16 salaries per year (4 monthly salary at the end of the year) is enough to meet her living needs in Hangzhou and provide a higher starting point than her peers.
The yearning for Shanghai makes Ci Wei want to continue to struggle in the autumn recruitment market until mid-October, waiting for the autumn move of ByteDance and Meituan to end.
In fact, ByteDance's salary (18k, 16 salary) is not as rich as Ali's; the high turnover rate brought about by frequent changes in organizational structure also makes Ciwei have some concerns. However, considering the current accelerated development of Douyin e-commerce and the rapid growth of ByteDance content products, even if the annual income is less than Ali, it is acceptable for fresh graduates who have just entered the workplace.
"It's too rolled, although everyone shouts that the big factory is too tired and doesn't want to go, but they all want to try it, it's one thing to go or not to go, and it's another thing to take the offer of the big factory." Xiao Xiao of Shanghai has not brushed a single offer at present.
She laughed and said that the big factory began to "roll in" at the stage of submitting resumes. "Before our class, many students said that they wanted to take the civil service examination, and now they are preparing to participate in the autumn recruitment. Some students are thinking of fighting for a few years first, saving some money and then starting to retire, but some students say that they are resolute not to touch the Internet, and they were tired of their previous internships. ”
For the "inner volume" culture of the Internet industry, Wen Ze and Ci Wei both believe that it is a matter of course, it is the inevitable transformation of the industry from the growth period to the maturity period, and the Internet industry is also difficult to escape here. When the information technology industry stops its explosive growth, it will inevitably make the migrant workers who are still pouring in at high speed face a situation of "inner volume".
Wen Ze and Ci Wei, who had already received offers, had no intention of fleeing. In a way, they are the handy winners of this "inner volume".
