Under the condition of only one set of office equipment and one workstation, Li Ji accepted the heavy responsibility entrusted by the organization, starting from specific links such as system design and overall planning of weapons and equipment. During those days, he came out early and returned late every day, eating casually outside at noon, and not coming home at night until 10 o'clock. The kung fu paid off, and in early March, he came up with a whole set of plans. In mid-April, the SWAT detachment successfully entered the recruitment stage. The first batch of swat police officers recruited was 40 people, and 3 civilian police officers were seconded from grass-roots public security organs to participate in the formation of the detachment. In order to ensure that the ability and quality of the team are excellent, Li Ji personally went to various places to select talents, and then conducted a three-month "hand-in-hand" intensive training for 43 police officers. In the past 3 months of sweat pouring, everyone has trained a skill and a body, and it is also from this time that Baoshan has a 44-person anti-terrorism SWAT team.
"In 2015, together with the local grass-roots public security, we conducted in-depth reconnaissance, cooperated with the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China and the Public Security Department of Yunnan Province to detect the '11.29' and '3.03' violent terrorist projects, and dug deep and destroyed two major terrorist-related gangs." One of the drug-related terrorist gangs involving more than a dozen people was smashed, and 4 criminals were executed, 3 were sentenced to life imprisonment and many were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment. In the seven years since the establishment of the detachment, he has successively arranged for the handling of more than 60 mass incidents, led the team to arrest 6 gunmen, seized 6 guns of various types and more than 40 rounds of ammunition, arrested 7 criminal suspects in homicide cases, arrested more than 30 "armed maniacs and drug maniacs", participated in more than 30 special arrest operations such as "sweeping away criminal syndicates and eliminating evil forces", "sweeping away the wind and sweeping drugs", "comprehensive management of social security", "comprehensive improvement of borders", and arrested more than 700 criminal suspects... In 2016, a large-scale mass incident occurred in Shidian County's Pengluo Township, and several merchants affected by their personal interests did not solve the problem through proper channels, but instigated hundreds of people to besiege the township government overnight. At the critical moment, Li Ji led 12 public security personnel wearing plainclothes to the scene of the incident, and he was alone in a group of two comrades, and it took only 2 minutes and 27 seconds to arrest the troublemaker. The handling of the mass incident in The Township and the subsequent handling of several emergencies have demonstrated the ability of the Baoshan anti-terrorism special police team.
