Ninh Binh is picturesque, with many places of interest and historical sites, such as the Fa Yan Stone Temple, which embodies the traditional characteristics of Vietnamese architecture, the picturesque Hualu, and the Three Valleys Scenic Area. Known as Little Guilin.

I have long heard about the beauty, food and beauty of Ninh Binh, and I have always wanted to find out. In 2020, it was late autumn and there was an opportunity to travel to Vietnam's Taṫm Province, a two-hour drive from Ninh Binh. Over the weekend, I made an appointment with a few Vietnamese colleagues and set off for Ninh Binh. Ten years ago, there was no highway here, but this trip was quite smooth, and the scenery along the way is also very Vietnamese, with long Vietnamese buildings, small vendors on the side of the road, and hard-working people working in the fields.

This time we mainly went to the mountains and rivers, and the first stop was of course water play. Sitting in the bamboo row, enjoying the scenery, chatting about the sky, looking at the beautiful women is indeed quite leisurely. It is also much more comfortable than a domestic tour of the market.

There are many mountains in Ninh Binh, and the local chicken and lamb are particularly delicious, but because my stomach is not particularly good that day, I did not let go to eat, nor did I take a photo, which is indeed a pity, and I must go swimming again next time I have the opportunity.

Like many places in Vietnam, the folk customs here are simple, and eating, drinking, playing, and having fun will not raise the price because you are a foreigner, which is really worth learning from many developing countries.
