Chongqing, September 10 (China News Network) (Reporter Liu Xian) "We bring Hong Kong's 3D art to Chongqing, an Internet celebrity 3D city, for a cross-border exchange. On the 10th, Li Yunyan, director of the Economic and Trade Office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government in Chengdu, stood in front of the three-dimensional trompe l'oeil art exhibition with the cultural characteristics of Hong Kong and Chongqing.

Li Yunyan was interviewed by China News Network and other media and introduced that the two activities held this time have three purposes. First, it hopes to promote exchanges in cultural and creative industries in Hong Kong, Chongqing and Chengdu. The salon invited representatives of Hong Kong's cultural and creative fields, such as Huang Junfei, former president and current professional member of the Hong Kong Illustrators Association, as well as representatives of enterprises in the fields of art and culture and creativity in Chongqing and Chengdu to share development stories. The second is to hope that the major names in the art and cultural creation industry in Chongqing and Chengdu will learn through this event that Hong Kong has many well-known art institutions, artists and practitioners who can expand their overseas business through Hong Kong. The third is to show the people of Chongqing through art exhibitions the elements of Tourism and Culture such as Hong Kong's scenery, architecture and cuisine.

In recent years, Hong Kong has made remarkable achievements in the development of the cultural and artistic industry. According to Lee Yun-yeon, Hong Kong's share of the global art market is close to a quarter. In 2019, creative industries accounted for 2% of Hong Kong's GDP, or about HK$60 billion. "The whole momentum is very good."

The exhibition features seven three-dimensional paintings on four themes: Hong Kong's old and new cityscapes, transport, tourist attractions, traditional culture and gastronomy. When punching in and taking photos, visitors pose body movements and expressions that are suitable for the situation of the painting, which will make visitors feel as if they are in a 3D real scene and start a three-dimensional fantasy journey in Hong Kong.

Taking the old Hong Kong Streetscape as an example, the picture shows the Potty Zha Street in Central, Hong Kong, the stone blocks are designed as a concave and a bulge, which is convenient for pedestrians to settle down and allows rainwater to flow along both sides, which is a first-class historical building in Hong Kong. The streets are lined with stalls of hawkers, and for more than 100 years, street vendors have been one of the characteristics of Life in Hong Kong. In this exhibition, this old Hong Kong street scene was restored on a sloped stone road in the mountain city of Chongqing, which came to life, attracting passing citizens to take photos.

Huang Yang, curator and head of Fine Effort Illustration, a Hong Kong illustration company, told reporters that because of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, it is inconvenient for everyone to travel to Hong Kong, so they packaged Hong Kong elements and brought them to the audience in Chongqing. In the exhibition, you can see various elements such as Hong Kong's high-rise buildings, authentic food, and transportation. In addition, he also hopes to present all the company's works in the future and explore more development opportunities in the mainland.

At the salon, the guests gave speeches on the themes of "The Value Created by Hong Kong's Illustration Industry for Brands", "Using the Power of Cultural Creativity to Help Commercial Real Estate Projects Drain", "Cultural Creativity: From Brand Remodeling to Precision Marketing", "Cross-border Linkage of Contemporary Art and Business", and conducted dialogues with the theme of "Hong Kong Chengdu-Chongqing Symbiosis and Win-Win".

One of the guest speakers, Chen Zhenhua, founder of Chengdu Ruiqiao Commercial Operation Management Co., Ltd., is a director of the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Sichuan Province, who has developed from Hong Kong to the mainland many years ago. In an exclusive interview with a reporter from China News Network, he said that in recent years, the chengdu-Chongqing region has developed rapidly and vigorously, and urban renewal needs a large number of talents, improve service levels, and introduce industrial IP to meet consumer demand. These are the advantages of Hong Kong enterprises, and they see great opportunities from them. The company has brought some well-known IP projects to the Chengdu-Chongqing area, "we are very optimistic about the market here." (End)
