China Network On January 28, swans and swan cubs walk leisurely by the lake, alpacas walk around the park to graze, parrots fly to your head and jump around, lemurs and squirrel monkeys sneak into your arms to compete for favors... Such a harmonious, cute and vivid scene seems to be very much like the Happy Animal Farm in the cartoon, but this is actually a serious zoo of eight hundred.

Haikou Swan Lake Animal Base is a modern ecological park integrating rare animal breeding, science education, tourism and tourism. Here, the captive breeding method of the conventional zoo is changed to ecological free range, and the scientific domestication management method is used, so that visitors can interact with small animals intimately and watch at close range, bid farewell to the simple onlookers to visit the zoo, and build a bridge for people and animals to live in harmony with nature.
The park covers an area of 120 acres and consists of water surface, small islands and peninsulas. It is divided into emu interactive area, lemur island interactive area, tortoise world interactive area, parrot world interactive area, capybara dune crane display area, alpaca kangaroo display area, American red ibis, colored ibis, pink spoonbill as the center of the bird world display area, and swan interactive display area and so on. There are nearly 100 kinds of national first- and second-class rare protected animals from five continents in the park.
It has been recorded that there are only seven species of swans in the world, and six species can be seen in Swan Lake: giant swans, warty swans, black swans, black-billed swans, black-necked swans (belonging to the swan genus), and another kind of flat-billed swan, belonging to the genus Swan. Each swan maintains a rare "lifelong companionship", so whether it is for food or rest, the swans travel in pairs.
Sensitive and cute ring-tailed lemurs belong to the primitive primates, their mouths are very long, two eyes laterally look like a fox, the tail has a section of link markings, basically in 11-12, so it is named "ring-tailed lemur". They are also known as "worshippers of the sun" because they always like to meditate calmly with their hands up and facing the sun, as if entering a state of contemplation, each of which is a posture facing one, which is simply the sunflower of the animal kingdom.
Kangaroos are nocturnal animals that usually come out a few hours after the sun goes down to find food, and return to the nest shortly after the sun comes out, so it often looks lazy during the day.
The alpaca has a docile temperament, but it knows what pain is, and occasionally plays small, and when it encounters unpleasant things, it can spew secretions from its nose like a camel, or spit on the faces of other animals to vent its chest resentment. The alpacas in the park have a wide range of activities, and you can walk with tourists in half of the park until the food in the hands of tourists is eaten.
The Shetland pony is native to the Shetland Islands in the United Kingdom, and the Shetland pony is a world-famous pony breed that can be found in many countries around the world. With its big sparkling eyes and childlike innocence, the Petran ponies are docile and small, making them one of the park's most beloved children.
