Xianmen City belongs to Xiancheng Town, Chaonan District, under the jurisdiction of 8 natural villages, is the second largest population of the administrative village (community), at home and abroad there are nearly 100,000 villagers. According to reports, Jiushipu and Laozhai in Xianmen City Community have a long history, profound heritage, distinctive architectural characteristics, and are traditional ancient villages with humanistic value.
According to records, Xianmen City was built during the Ming Jianwen period, more than 600 years ago. At the time of its establishment, it was under the jurisdiction of Chaoyang County, the capital of Chaozhou, and the name of the village was "Shanmen City". A descendant of Zhao Kuangmei, the younger brother of Zhao Kuangyin, the grandfather of the Song Dynasty, he moved from Zhangpu, Fujian to Datanglong (present-day Dachanglong), the capital of Yangwu. One of them, Zhao Wuqian, was born about the time of the Yuan Dynasty, lived in The Village of Dachanglong, and passed to Zhao Bichuan, the third ancestor of Xianmen City, and was instructed by the immortal master He Yeyun to first go to the treasure land of Jiushipu, and then founded Shanmen City, because of the guidance of the Immortal Master, so it was named "Xianmen City".

Zhao Ancestral Hall is located in the southeast corner of the ancient village of Xianmen City, there are rich cultural inscriptions and stone carvings, wood carvings, inlaid porcelain, murals and other Chaoshan traditional art masterpieces, the ancient ancestral hall is beautiful, it is said that the immortal master He Yeyun pointed out, Zhao Bichuan, the third ancestor of the Zhao family, the main ancestor of Xianmen City, Zhao 5,000, the second ancestor Zhao Pingtian. The stele on the left side of the main hall of the ancestral hall bears an inscription on the origin of the ancestral hall, and on one side there is a special hall to erect a statue of He Yeyun to commemorate He Yeyun's contribution to the Zhao clan. According to community cadres, the Zhao Ancestral Hall has been rebuilt over the generations, which has important historical value for inheriting history and culture and for the zhao clan at home and abroad to find their roots and worship their ancestors.
Built in 1762 AD, the Ruchuan Ancestral Temple is a well-preserved old building with a plaque of "Miaoxu Hall" hanging above the main hall. In 2017, the Zhao Ancestral Hall and the Ruchuan Ancestral Ancestral Hall were selected into the sixth batch of shantou cultural relics protection unit directory.
