Jointly sponsored by Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, foreign affairs office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government and People's Government of Rongchang District of Chongqing Municipality, the competition is open to Chongqing tourism commodity manufacturers and relevant units, and the participating commodities are all physical tourism commodities developed and designed in Chongqing, with Chongqing regional cultural characteristics and already sold in the market.
The competition received a total of 19 categories, more than 500 sets and more than 1,000 pieces of tourism commodities (cultural and creative products) participating in the exhibition, full of creativity and excellent quality.

The works judging adheres to the criteria of "regionality, brand, practicality, innovation, marketability, craftsmanship and demonstration", and selects 10 gold awards, 20 silver awards and 50 bronze awards for "Chongqing Good Gifts" tourism commodities (cultural and creative products), and 80 foreign affairs gifts in Chongqing.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government, since the launch of the first "Chongqing Good Gift" foreign affairs gift collection and selection activity in 2020, it has received widespread attention and active participation from people from all walks of life. Among the more than 80 kinds of foreign affairs gifts that were successfully selected in 2020, up to now, more than 400 gifts including Rongchang pottery, Chengkou Mountain God Lacquerware, Banan Silver Needle, Sand Magnetic Disorder Needle Embroidery, etc. have been sent.
