The sport originated in Ragby, England (the name of a town in Warwickshire, mid-west England) and was originally called Rugby Football because it was born in a school called Ragby. The school has a long history and is one of the oldest public schools in England. Legend has it that the sport of rugby was born in a soccer match at this school by a student named William Webb Ellis in order to vent his anger and thus to make a whimsical move.

Personally, the one I watch the most is the NFL. At first I didn't understand its rules, and I didn't even know exactly how the sport was scored, but I just loved watching people collide with each other. In the NFL, there are said to be nearly 20,000 tactical combinations, and every attack, defense, shooting, abandonment and kick-off must rely on tactics, which also increases the uncertainty of the game, because each tactical combination may create wonderful scoring and magical reversals. The whole game will be ups and downs, gripping, coupled with dexterous running positions and powerful collisions, which fully demonstrate the charm of rugby from other sports.

The popularity of rugby in our country is still very low, in addition to feeling that it is a particularly violent sport in the depths of our hearts, it is also subject to various reasons such as the limitation of the venue and the low level of awareness of the sport, which has led to its relatively slow development in our country. It should be known that the first domestic football team in this sport was established in 1990 by Professor Cao Xihuan of China Agricultural University with the help of foreign friends and the support of the Beijing Municipal Education Bureau and the leadership of China Agricultural University. Of course, in the years since, our country is also slowly developing this sport, and now many colleges and universities have also organized the corresponding rugby, and rugby is still an Olympic competition. Just last year's Tokyo Olympic Games women's rugby sevens Asian qualification tournament, our Chinese team won the Tokyo Olympic qualification in Guangzhou with a 33-0 victory over Hong Kong, China, which is also the first time that Chinese rugby has entered the Olympic Games.
