Four Peaks Mountain is also known as Four Peaks Mountain, because the mountain has four peaks, so it is named. The mountain stands on the north shore of Chao Lake, and the summit can overlook Chao Lake in the distance, and the Zhongmiao Mushan Island is also within a view. Looking around, the view is pleasant and it is a great place for a weekend.

Moonstone
At the entrance of the climbing steps at the foot of the mountain stands two huge stones, standing on both sides of the road, one stone is engraved with the big red characters "Moon" in italics, and the other stone is engraved with "Xia", much like a minimalist couplet, from the perspective of the Ping shu battle, this is a neat couplet, the right is the upper link "Moon", the left is the lower link "Xia", it is estimated to be the shortest Yang Lian in the world.
There are a total of 666 climbing steps, and there are text descriptions in specific places, such as: 99 levels, walk after meals, live to 99, and 333 levels, 520, 521 and so on. Picking up the stairs, along the way, the humanistic atmosphere is rich, and there are many poets' masterpieces. Not far away on foot, there is the Qing Dynasty man Shen Hongzuo's "Yong Si Ding Shan Chaoxia":
Leaning on the air mark strange posture, reflecting the autumn color of the lake.
When the window is there or not, the rain and shine are in an instant.
Parrot stone
Continue along the steps, there are many tall pine trees on the side of the road, lush, the steps pass through it, there is a breeze, it is very cool, there is no trace of mountaineering fatigue. On the side of the road is Xu Sunjing's five-character poem "Spring Day Over Chaoxia Mountain":
The pavilion is over the morning sun, and the mountain stream is slightly inclined.
The springs are divided into stone teeth, and the birds are chaotic with silver sand.
Jiyuan old dreams, Haronanoji flower.
Evening smoke fans short ride, back to the road wicker shade.
And xu Rulan's seven-word poem "Climbing the Four Peaks and Looking at the Lake" in the Ming Dynasty:
The pole layer pepper is straight up, and the peak smoke is far away.
The mountains come to Huolu in the west, and the waves go east to chase the tides of the river.
The sky is far away, and the underwater fish and dragons are proud.
The situation is the Xianling Multi-Cave House, Boyang Danding Mist Qingxiao.
Hiking trails
Along the way, I found a strange phenomenon, there are no birds singing in the mountains, and there are no insects singing, which is very quiet. Not long after climbing, it was Yang Tilong's five-word poem "Four Peaks Mountain" of the Qing Dynasty:
Zhen Cezi peak, Ping Lake falls in front of you.
The four peaks are like scratching the ground, and the water wants to float in the sky.
Dai Yun is always protected, but dan furnace fire is not.
How people come here, most of them are immortal.
In addition, there is a seven-song song:
Four-topped mountain
[Song] Zhang Yanxiu
Cui Luan Qi towered flat lake,
Late green towards red painting is not as good.
Message to Shang Shan Xian SiHao,
Good to each side of the peak.
Because the mountain is relatively short, only 174 meters above sea level, it will reach the middle of the mountainside, that is, at the 333 steps, and then there is the Ming Dynasty poet Xiong Jing's Seven Absolute "Four Peaks of Chaoxia":
The top cloud forest scenery is the best, and the qi peaks are coiled around the immortal family.
Hibiscus Fuhuo Dan Sand Old, Treasure Qi Millennium Knot Rainbow Xia.
Alchemy pool
This is also the location of the alchemy pond, which is now full of aquatic plants and water lilies, the north and south of the pond are about 20 meters long, 15 meters wide from east to west, and more than 1 meter deep, and the mountain spring is inexhaustible all year round and clear to the bottom. According to legend, Wei Boyang of the Eastern Han Dynasty once practiced Dan here, and the Dan sand and immortal powder left behind at the bottom of the mountain reflected the morning glow and radiated different colors. The four tops of Chaoxia have been listed as one of the "Eight Views of Luyang" and the "Eight Views of Chaohu Lake".
It is said that in the depths of the well, I have seen the reeds floating from Mount Emei in Sichuan, so it is called "Floating Reed Well". There are four peaks in the well, the best of the four mountain scenery - "The Moon Reflects the Morning Sun". When the moon is in the middle of the day at night, you can see the strange colorful clouds and wonderful moonlight at the bottom of the well. Next to the floating reed well is the Chaoxia Temple, after several dynastic changes, the baptism of time, the floating reed well has dried up, leaving a pile of rocks, the temple no longer exists, only some broken tiles and some celadon pieces remain.
Chao Lake
summerhouse
Further up is the top of the mountain, there is a modern pavilion, standing on the top of the mountain "will be the top of the mountain, overlooking the Chao Lake is small", due to the weather, the fog is large and you can no longer see the distant Yaoshan Island and pagoda. The stone at the top of the mountain is inscribed with words, and the "four sunrises" can be faintly recognized. The terrain is also relatively flat, with a large flat land, but it is full of unknown trees, and some building materials are scattered between the trees, such as tiles, which are estimated to be the remnants of the roof of Asakaji Temple.

Four Peaks Mountain
[Tang] Luo Yin
The scenery is naturally different, and the spirit is drawn into the picture.
A mountain is divided into four peaks, and three sides overlook the flat lake.
There is no heat for monks in summer, and the grass does not dry up.
Tourists come here, willing to shave their hair and whiskers.
"Climbing the Four Peaks"
Wan Yi
The four peaks are famous for a long time, and the mountains are cloudy.
Occasionally, I saw clusters of red flowers at the well, as splendid as Xia' consolation.
