On July 24-26, 2020, the "CPBA" Championship No. 10 Ball Invitational Tournament ended at the Ximending Hospitality Billiard Hall in Taipei. Zhang Ronglin defeated Yang Qingshun and Ke Bingyi in a row, entered the final by Shengbu, and defeated Zhang Yulong 13-8 in the final battle to win the championship and earn NT$80,000 (about 19,000 yuan).
The "CPBA" Championship No. 10 Ball Invitational Tournament only invited four players - Yang Qingshun, Zhang Ronglin, Ke Bingyi and Zhang Yulong, but this lineup is enough to represent the highest level of billiards in Taiwan today. The four players compete for the championship in a double-elimination manner, using the WPA standard no. 10 ball rule and taking turns to rush the ball.
In the first two matchdays, Zhang Ronglin defeated Yang Qingshun and Ke Bingyi 11-9 after the start, and entered the final from the winning department. Zhang Yulong, who lost to Ke Bingyi in the first game 1-11, broke out in the defeat, 11-6 Li defeated Yang Qingshun, 11-9 revenge killed Ke Bingyi, and completed the meeting with Zhang Ronglin.
In the final, Zhang Ronglin broke Zhang Yulong's punching set in the first set and cleared the stage to win the second set, taking a 2-0 lead. Since then, Zhang Ronglin has maintained the lead, and Zhang Yulong has forced the point difference to 1 set three times 2-3, 3-4, 5-6, but has never been able to equalize. Zhang Ronglin then exerted his strength, stretching the point difference to four sets for the first time 10-6 and taking the match point 12-8. In the 21st set, Zhang Yulong rushed the ball directly to wash the bag, Zhang Ronglin free ball on the easy to clear the stage, 13-8 defeat Zhang Yulong, won the championship, and received NT$80,000 (about 19,000 yuan).
