The first session of the Eighteenth People's Congress of Dao county held its third plenary session

On the afternoon of October 23, the first meeting of the 18th People's Congress of Daoxian County held its third plenary meeting in the auditorium of the county government to elect the chairman, vice chairman, and members of the Standing Committee of the 18th People's Congress of the county, the county governor and deputy county governor of the county people's government, the director of the county supervision commission, the president of the county people's court, and the chief procurator of the county people's procuratorate.

The leaders at higher levels who sat in the front row of the rostrum of the meeting were: Ai Jianhua, deputy director of the Organization Department of the Municipal CPC Committee, secretary of the Working Committee of the Municipal CPC Committee on Non-public Economic Organizations and Social Organizations, and head of the Steering Group for the Election of County and District Elections appointed by the Municipal Cpc Committee; and Zhang Diansheng, head of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection in the Civil Affairs Bureau and head of the Municipal Committee's Work Style Supervision Group for the Change of Posts in Counties and Districts.

The leaders seated in the front row of the rostrum were: Li Tianming, Zhou Liangying, Zhang Zhiguo, Lin Zhigang, He Yugui, Zhou Xiaoping, Cao Xianghua, Huang Shengxian, Jiang Yaoli, Chen Xin'e, Yang Sanxin, He Jian, Wu Guoyu, and Zhu Haiyong.

Also seated on the rostrum were Tang Chaoxue, Jiang Yanfei, Liu Zhonghua, Chen Wei, and other leaders, as well as other members of the presidium of the congress.

The general meeting shall be attended by 297 delegates, 8 of whom shall take leave due to illness, and the actual number of delegates shall be 289, which shall meet the quorum.

The meeting was presided over by Li Tianming, secretary of the county party committee.

By a show of hands, the general assembly adopted the list of recommendations of the superintendent voter and the scrutineer, and announced the total number of voters and tellers.

The meeting adopted the method of secret ballot to conduct the election, and the deputies to the people's congress attending the meeting held a high sense of political responsibility for the people of the whole county and cast their most sacred vote.

After the election, Lin Zhigang was elected chairman of the Standing Committee of the Eighteenth People's Congress of Daoxian County; Chen Xin'e, Yang Sanxin, He Jian, Wu Guoyu, and Zhu Haiyong were vice chairmen of the Standing Committee of the Eighteenth People's Congress of Daoxian County; 29 comrades, including Zhou Fengtuan, Zhou Hua, and Tang Chuming, were elected as members of the Standing Committee of the Eighteenth People's Congress of Daoxian County; Tang Chaoxue was elected as the county magistrate of the Daoxian People's Government; Zhang Yibo, Hu Yunchao, Qin Xuejun, Zhou Xiaofen, Zhu Yunyan, Zhou Li, Li Houliu, and Zhu Long were elected as deputy county governors of the Daoxian People's Government Zhang Zhiguo was elected chairman of the Daoxian Supervision Commission; Chen Daoyuan was elected president of the Daoxian People's Court; and Qu Jun was elected chief procurator of the Daoxian People's Procuratorate (reported to the Yongzhou Municipal People's Procuratorate for approval by the Standing Committee of the Yongzhou Municipal People's Congress).

By a show of hands, the meeting adopted the list of chairmen, vice chairmen, and members of the special committee of the Eighteenth County People's Congress (draft).

At the meeting, the newly elected county magistrates and deputy county chiefs of the county people's governments, the directors of the county supervision commissions, the presidents of the county people's courts, and the members of the 18th County People's Congress Standing Committee and the members of the special committees who were elected and adopted swore an oath to the Constitution.
