Then, Gao Yang immediately rushed back to the Gao family's old nest and took over the power of the soldiers and horses. However, there is no direct evidence in the history books that Gao Cheng's death is half related to Gao Yang, but Gao Yang's performance before and after is very different, and it is difficult to believe that he really has nothing to do with this matter. As a result, this "conspiracy theory" gradually spread, and more and more people believed that it was Gao Yang who planned the whole incident, killed his eldest brother Gao Cheng, and finally, took over all this.
In addition, when Gao Yang handled this matter, he personally killed the murderer. If this is a plot, then the only evidence has been destroyed by Gao Yang. But in any case, Gao Yang at least seized the opportunity of the times to usurp the throne successfully, and in the turbulent era of the Southern and Northern Dynasties, founded the Northern Qi Dynasty. In the end, Gao Yang lost his body due to drinking alcohol and died violently at the age of 34 on october 10, 10th year of Tianbao.
