The first member congress of the second session of Hunan Mining Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) was held at the headquarters of Shanhe (Intelligent) Industrial City in Changsha City. 86 member units have worked together to open a new situation and sounded the rallying cry of high-quality development.
Approved by the Hunan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, the association was established in 2016, under the leadership of the first council and leadership team, united and led all member units to improve service levels by strengthening organizational construction; strengthening communication between upper and lower levels, improving service quality; strengthening platform construction and promoting international exchanges; building green mines and promoting "two-type" development; building industry culture, establishing mine image, etc., with a "hard-working, substantive and practical" work style, handing over a satisfactory answer sheet for the development of mining in Hunan Province. Give full play to its own advantages, take the initiative, actively participate in the construction of the China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, integrate Hunan's mining, mining and mining technology into the various platforms of the free trade zone, and play an industry-leading role in building "one industry, one park, one corridor". Taking the Mining Professional Committee of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce of the China Chamber of International Commerce as the platform, the China-Africa Mining Trade Recommendation Meeting was successfully held, the Changsha Gaoqiao Pavilion of the China-Africa Economic Expo was built, and a joint operation mechanism of "Mining Enterprise Qualification + Gaoqiao Big Market" was established, which made positive contributions to the expansion of international trade of Hunan Mining, became a bright business card for docking the national "Belt and Road" initiative, boosted the "open Xingxiang", and became a pillar industry for the revitalization of Hunan economy.
In the implementation of the "three highs and four new" strategy of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and the Hunan Provincial Government, Hunan, as a famous "town of non-ferrous metals" and "non-metallic towns" in the country, is rich in mineral resources, has more mining enterprises, a developed mining economy, and advanced mining technology. In the process of comprehensively promoting the "going out" strategy of Hunan Mining, in the process of transformation and upgrading of Hunan mining, technological innovation and high-quality development, the new era has given it a new mission. The new leadership team of the association will anchor the construction goal of the Hunan Free Trade Zone with a broader international vision, strengthen the exchange and cooperation of the mining industry with foreign countries, and improve the development quality of the mining economy and the level of opening up to the outside world. It will write a new chapter of "high-quality development, high-level service and efficient operation" of Hunan Mining Association in terms of strengthening organizational construction, innovating work mechanisms, strengthening the establishment of rules and regulations, standardizing industry self-discipline, building a technical platform and improving service levels; expanding industry vision and serving the mining economy; promoting mining culture and building a spiritual homeland.
The first general meeting of the second session of the association elected Ye Changfu as the president, Tan Jiannong (full-time), Long Jucai, Zheng Jianrong, Chen Haibin, Kang Ruhua, Zhang Haiying, Yan Xiaohua and Wang Biao as vice presidents, and Wang Biao as the secretary general (legal representative). Liu Yuqiang, member of the Party Committee of the China Association for the Promotion of Industry-University-Research Cooperation, deputy director of the Steering Committee for the Teaching of Geology majors in colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education, former full-time vice president and secretary general of the China Mining Federation, Guo Jie, president of the Uganda Hunan Chamber of Commerce, chairman of the Ivorian Guanghui Mining Company, and chairman of Uganda Guanghui Mining Company, and Chen Xinguo, president of the Hunan Jewelry and Jade Jewelry Industry Association, were elected as the honorary president of the association.
