Yesterday, the Hubei Provincial Public Security Department reported that on June 10, the murder suspect Xiong Chao was jointly arrested by the police of Yingshan County in Hubei Province, Wuxi City in Jiangsu Province, and Zhangjiagang City in Jiangsu Province, becoming the first person to be arrested on the wanted list. At the same time, the vicious murder case that occurred 26 years ago in Huanglinchong Village, Jinjiapu Town, Yingshan County, has finally been settled.
A family of three died in a pool of blood late at night
It is mentioned that on April 21, 1994, Zheng Hui, a 49-year-old instructor at the Taojiahe Police Station of the Yingshan County Public Security Bureau, still remembers it vividly. That was the first day he reported to the criminal investigation brigade of the Yingshan County Public Security Bureau, and a murder that occurred that day was "entangled" with him for 26 years.
Late that night, Zheng Hui and his colleagues Zha Yongbing and Cheng Gang were on duty when they received a mass alarm: The three members of the Wang family in Huanglinchong Village, Jinjiapu Town, were covered in blood and had no vital signs.
Zheng Hui and the other three immediately rushed to the scene. The young Zheng Hui was stunned by the scene in front of him: 19-year-old Wang mou and his parents were lying on their backs on the bed, there was a large blood stain on the floor of the house, and all three people were injured by blunt objects.
The Yingshan County Public Security Bureau quickly set up a special case team, and the Provincial Public Security Department and the Huanggang City Public Security Bureau respectively dispatched criminal investigation experts to participate in the investigation and handling of the case.
After investigation, the police found the axe used in the crime, and locked Wang's fiancé Xiong Chao as suspected of major crimes. However, Xiong Chao did not know the end of the case after the incident, and the police searched for his whereabouts in many ways without success, and the investigation of the case reached an impasse.

26 years without catching the murderer does not stop

The bounty notice leads to the "good old man"
On June 5 this year, the Provincial Public Security Department issued a reward notice, publicly arresting Ye Chaogui, Feng Chengjun, Wu Yongping, Xiong Chao, and 20 other fugitives who were killed.
On the 8th, the police in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, contacted the Yingshan police: Fu Xiongfei, who was dealt with for stealing a motorcycle in 2008, is very similar to the criminal suspect Xiong Chao.
Seeing Fu Xiongfei's clear photo, Zheng Hui couldn't help but exclaim: "It's too similar!" Probably him! With a little preparation, on the 9th, Zheng Hui led the team to drive to Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province, where Fu Xiongfei was located.
"For 26 years, Yingshan public security people have always remembered this case, and a batch of police officers who handled cases have paid too much effort for it. The moment I saw the picture, I jumped up from my chair. Zheng Hui told reporters.
In the early morning of the 10th, Zheng Hui and his party arrived in Zhangjiagang City. Subsequently, they contacted the Zhangjiagang Municipal Public Security Bureau to determine Fu Xiongfei's specific location in Fenghuang Town, the city, and to formulate a combined arrest plan for the police in Yingshan County, Wuxi City, and Zhangjiagang City.
At about 2 p.m. on the same day, Fu Xiongfei was arrested.
When the police took Fu Xiongfei away from a factory in Phoenix Town, the boss and colleagues could not believe that he was a fugitive from murder. The factory owner told the police that Fu Xiongfei was usually low-key and introverted, especially good at talking, never quarreled with people, had no requirements for wages and treatment, and was an old and good man.
After Fu Xiongfei fell into the net, he did not say a word. The police asked him in The Yingshan dialect: "Are you Xiong Chao?" He was stunned for a long time, and after a long sigh, he nodded slowly and said, "Finally, I have waited for you." ”
He raised his axe because of marital disagreements
After interrogation, Xiong Chao confessed to the murder 26 years ago.
In 1993, Xiong Chao and Wang held an engagement ceremony, but the Wang family repeatedly postponed the marriage. On the afternoon of April 20, 1994, Xiong Chao came to the Wang family to ask for an explanation, but was ignored by the Wang family. After Xiong Chao returned home, the more he thought about it, the more angry he became, and he couldn't help but feel malicious. At about 2:00 a.m. on the 21st, he came to the Wang family again and killed Wang's parents with an axe. He woke up the sleeping Wang, and the two had a fierce quarrel, and Xiong Chao killed Wang again.
Xiong Chao thought about committing suicide, but after sitting in the kitchen for an hour, he became scared. He covered the bodies of three members of Wang's family with a quilt, locked the gate, rode Wang's bicycle, and fled all the way to Lu'an, Anhui Province, but unexpectedly encountered his fellow villagers. Fearing that his whereabouts would be exposed, he hoped on a long-distance bus and came to Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, where he wandered to Zhangjiagang City and settled down. "After escaping from Ying Shan, I want to go far away and fly high. My mother's surname was Fu, so I changed the name Fu Xiongfei to myself. Xiong Chao confessed.
At present, Xiong Chao has been escorted back to Yingshan County and detained according to law.
