Latin name: Cryptoplax oculata

Description: Mollusc phylum, Polycytoperidae, Lithopodidae, Cryptophyllaceae, Cryptocosmosidae. The body is worm-shaped, rounded at both ends, with a body length of 6 mm and a width of 16 mm. The head plate is semi-circular. The 1st to 4th shells of the adult are connected to each other, the 5th to 8th shells are separated, and the eight shells of the young individual are connected to each other. There is a circle of black spines around the first 3 shells, and a circle of white spines in addition to the black spines, which are shaped like eyes. The rest of the shells are small and lanceolate. The ring band is particularly developed, pale yellow, with a black band between the 3rd and 4th shells and a black band each on the position of the 5th shell. It inhabits coral reefs.
