  According to the 2021 forest pest overwintering survey, the occurrence of forestry pests ginkgo biloba silkworm moth in Kaiyang County covers an area of 1200 mu, mainly distributed in Changhong Village and Tianchong Village of Hefeng Township, all of which are mild hazards. Ginkgo biloba silkworm moth is a kind of silkworm moth of the genus Walnut Great Silkworm Moth of the family Lepidoptera, distributed in Northeast China, North China, East China, Central China, South China and Southwest China, hosting medicinal plants such as apricots and walnuts, maple incense, etc. Its larvae eat the leaves of host plants such as Ginkgo biloba into missing or light leaves, which seriously affects plant photosynthesis and yield, landscape effects, etc. Through continuous control and follow-up monitoring in the past three years, the occurrence of ginkgo biloba silkworm moths distributed in Hefeng Township has been effectively controlled, and the prevention and control results are outstanding.
