Today's strong and popular science is the nail snail, the nail snail is a mollusk, there are female and male, amphibian, composed of two parts of the snail shell and the soft body, the front part of the soft part is the head, neck, foot and mantle membrane, the posterior part is visceral; the surface has longitudinal ribs called "rib shell nail snail", the shell length is about 10 mm, the width is about 4 mm, living in the lake swamp or water network area; the shell surface is smooth for the "light shell nail snail", slightly smaller than the rib shell nail snail, long and wide respectively 6 mm and 3 mm, most common in hill areas. Snails are also the main intermediate hosts for Schistosomiasis in Japan.

The shell of the nail snail is small, the adult body is 7 to 10 mm high, 3 to 4 mm wide, pointed and conical, and has 6 to 9 spiral layers. The shell is thick and hard, the shell surface is smooth or has thick or thin longitudinal ribs, and the bottom snail layer is larger. The shell surface is pale grey, the shell mouth is ovoid, with black rim edges, and there is a thick raised lip crest on the dorsal side of the outer lip. Nail snails are amphibious snails. Juveniles prefer to live in water, and adults 5261 generally prefer to live in the grass of the wet zone 4102 on the waterline with 1653.
The snails are hermaphroditic and oviparous. Mating is possible throughout the year, with the largest number of maters in the spring and the second in the fall. Spawning is possible from November to July, but the most spawning occurs from March to May. The eggs are laid in moist soil and hatch at the right temperature (16-23 °C) for the larvae to hatch in less than a month. Hatched larvae mature in two months when food is abundant and the temperature is suitable.
Snail extermination can be carried out by manual capture, trapping, deep burial, poisoning and other measures. According to the living rules of the snail, winter can be combined with farmland water conservancy construction. Poisoning is the most suitable before the temperature rises in April, and after May, drugs that also injure snail eggs are applied to poisoning, and after June, the young snails of the year are mainly killed.
