On the morning of October 26, under the coordinated operation of two 100-ton cranes at the construction site of the S217 Dongyang Nanwuling Interconnection Project, a prefabricated box girder with a length of 30 meters and a weight of 100 tons was slowly raised and smoothly mounted on two pier platforms, marking the official transfer of the project from offline construction to online bridge deck construction, laying a solid foundation for the Opening of the Nanwuling Interconnection Project as soon as possible.
It is reported that the project is expected to erect 108 pieces of prefabricated box girders, and the entire box girder erection work is expected to be completed before the end of December 2021, after which the bridge deck paving, guardrail construction and other operations will be carried out.
S217 Dongyang Nanwuling Interconnection Project main line for S217 (Chengnan West Road) South Wuling road section, the interchange starting point is S217 and Nanshi Road intersection, along the current S217 to the south, across the G527 after the interconnection and finally the south side of the South Gate Square to the south side of the S217 old road, the total length of the main line is 1.635km, the contract construction period is 18 months, the physical construction period is 16 months, and the main node of the bridge is completed before January 25, 2022.
"At present, the substructure has been basically completed, and the main project can be completed on the 140-meter full-hall buckle bracket spanning national highway 527. The completion of the project will effectively strengthen the traffic connection between the main city (urban area) in the north of Dongyang City and the sub-city in the south (Hengdian Town), reverse and change the current situation of 'traffic jams and accidents' at this level crossing, improve the regional highway traffic environment, and create a ten-minute traffic circle in the urban area and Hengdian. The general manager of Dongyang Highway Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. said that the main body of the entire Nanwuling Interconnection Project is expected to be completed and opened to traffic before the Spring Festival, and 45% of the overall project has been completed.
