Huang Guoqun, a famous composer from Zhijiang, is a male composer/music producer, a national first-class composer and a member of the Chinese Musicians Association. He is a director of the China Mass Music Association, a director of the Music And Work Committee of the China Radio and Television Association, a special composer of the Asian Philharmonic Orchestra, and the honorary chairman of the Swiss "Chinese Cultural and Sports Association".
He began his music creation career in the 1980s and served as a full-time composer in the creative room of hunan province (xiangxi) national song and dance troupe. Later, he graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music (cadre specialization) majoring in composition, and successively studied under musicians Wang Mo and Professor Zhao Xingdao.
