"Handsome, the wind is so strong today, you don't wear thicker." "I'm not cold, so go home and eat."

At noon on April 26, Guo Shuai, the first secretary of the Linzhou Branch of the Chinese Bank in Linqi Town, Linzhou City, had just returned to the village and met uncle Lu, a villager. In Guanling Village, no one does not know this young "Secretary Guo". "Secretary Guo is a very good person, just love to 'toss'." Uncle Lu said.

In August 2017, 28-year-old Guo Shuai came to Guanling Village to serve as the first secretary of the village. Guanling, located at the junction of Linzhou and Huixian, is a deep mountain village with a mountainous area of more than 6,000 mu. "The first time I arrived at the village, I drove for an hour and a half from Downtown Linzhou. The closer you get to the village, the steeper the mountain road and the more desolate the roadside becomes. Guo Shuai said that as soon as he arrived in the village, he began to visit households, "At that time, it was common not to go home for a month." Others feel that it is bitter to be stationed in the village, and I have been training in the army for 8 years and am not afraid of hardship. ”

During the visit, Guo Shuai found that only one main road in the village was a cement road, and the rest was all dirt roads. There are no street lights in the village, and the villagers rely on a few live springs on the mountain for drinking water, and the safety of drinking water is not guaranteed.

"The people who stayed in the village were all old people, and when they met a lot, they all regarded me as their own children, and I also regarded them as relatives. I must do something and not let them down. Determined Guo Shuai immediately began to "toss" - trying to raise funds to connect the cement road to the doorstep of each villager, install street lights for the whole village, build and expand 4 reservoirs, in addition to regular disinfection, but also sent a free water purifier to each household...

After the infrastructure improvement, he also pondered the development of the industry: leading the villagers to set up planting cooperatives to develop the photovoltaic industry; raising funds to guide the villagers to plant peppercorns and forsythia, inviting technicians to the village for training... After several "tosses", in 2019, Guanling Village successfully got rid of poverty.

"This year, we are going to build a farm in the village, attract young people who go out to work to return to their hometowns to start a business, let more tourists stay, and make the people of Guanling rich." Nowadays, Guo Shuai, who loves "tossing", has a new "tossing" goal and has long planned a beautiful future for the revitalization of the countryside in Guanling Village.
