UFC legend "Spider-Man" Anderson Silva will be in the ring again on September 11, this time in a crossover boxing match with another UFC legend, Tito Ortiz.

The tournament will take place at the boxing comeback of world boxing champion Della Joa in the first six tiers, with Hoya taking on former UFC champion Vito Belfort.
The 46-year-old "Spider-Man" Silva is a true MMA legend, a former UFC middleweight champion who holds the longest 13-game winning streak ever held by the UFC.
His last MMA match was last year's UFC Fighting Night 181, when Silva was punched TKO by Hall over four legs.
Silva has a 2-1 (1 KO) professional boxing record in professional boxing.
Silva beat former WBC middleweight world boxing champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in a crossover boxing match on June 19 this year to unanimous praise.
Prior to that, Silva achieved 1-1 professional boxing records in 1998 and 2005, respectively.
Ortiz, also 46, was a wrestler in his early years and defended the UFC Light Heavyweight Gold Belt five times in a row between 2000 and 2003.
His last game was to beat Alberto Elle Payne in TheCombate Americas in 2019.
Ortiz recently resigned as mayor of Huntington Beach, California, but he has never competed in professional boxing, and this time it is his first return to the field in two years and his first appearance in professional boxing.
The Sept. 11 showdown will take place at staples Center in Los Angeles, with Ortiz playing most of the game at 205 pounds and Silva spending most of his career at 185 pounds, so the two will fight at a maximum weight of 195 pounds.
The tournament will feature eight rounds of competition, with both athletes wearing 10oz boxing covers.
Silva is very pleased to have the opportunity to continue his career, saying: "I am delighted to have the opportunity to join my team in the boxing ring against Ortiz on September 11. ”
Ortiz is also full of expectations for the game, saying: "I am very happy to be able to take on a new challenge and play against a great warrior like Silva, I am a patriot, so the match on September 11 means a lot to me. ”
Spider-Man Silva's retirement is a major loss for the entire MMA space, but he continues to play his heat in professional boxing, and we also expect the legendary veteran to continue to bring classic matches to the world of fighting.
