Yoshinaga Sayuri (吉永小柳) was born on March 13, 1945 in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan, a Japanese actor, singer, voice actor, and producer, and graduated from Waseda University.

In 1956, at the age of 11, Yoshinaga First voiced the role of Sayuri in the radio drama Akatsuki Suzunosuke. In 1959, he participated in the recruitment exam for the crew of "The Whistle Calling the Morning", and was successfully selected, debuting on the screen as the slender and thin girl Miwako in the film.

In 1962, when he was in high school, he starred in the drama film "The Street of Iron Furnaces" directed by Kiriro Urayama, and became increasingly famous for playing a fresh and pure girl with excellent character and learning, and was affectionately called Little Lily by fans; in the same year, the song "いつそも梦を" ("Forever Dream") was sung with Yukio Hashimoto, which sold 300,000 copies and won the 4th Japan Record Award

In 1963, he starred in the romance film "The Dancer of Izu", based on Yasunari Kawabata's early novella of the same name, in which he played kaoru, a young dancer with a clever and beautiful appearance.

In 1965, Yoshinaga Koyuri was admitted to the Department of History, Faculty of Letters, Waseda University, and continued film shooting while she was in school.

In 1964, he co-starred with Mitsuo Hamada in the feature film Gaze on Love and Death, in which she played today's terminally ill young woman Tomoko Oshima.

In 1969, Yoshinaga Sayuri graduated from university, and the screen image began to change from a young girl to a mature woman.
