Thunder guard Shea Kyrgyz Alexander recently spoke to GQ and expressed his hope that when he retires, he will not only be remembered as a good player.
"I want to be one of the best point guards of all time, and I'm not just playing in the sport to be a good basketball player, I want to be one of the best players ever."
The momentum of Alexander's progress to date has been impressive. In the 2018-19 season, as a rookie, Alexander averaged 10.8 points per game for the Clippers, and in the following season, he was sent to the Thunder in George's trade, and his average score climbed to 19 points per game.
Alexander's injury to a torn plantar fascia led to early reimbursement for alexander's third NBA season, but he still made significant progress in 35 games, setting career highs in multiple statistics, including points per game (23.7), assists per game (5.9), shooting percentage (50.8 percent) and three-point shooting (41.8 percent).
As a Canadian, Alexander rightfully made Steve Nash his target, saying in an interview: "I am the black version of Steve Nash. ”
