At the foot of the West Mountain in Haizhou District, Fuxin City, across the beautiful river, there is a secluded park, which is the "318" Park. In the park, there is a pine and cypress green hillside, standing majestic revolutionary martyrs monument, the front of the monument relief, carved the people's liberation army liberation of Fuxin battle scene, buried under the monument to the martyrs who sacrificed for the liberation of Fuxin. Why is it called 318 Park? Because on March 18, 1948, the whole territory of Fuxin was liberated. Therefore, every year on March 18, people from all walks of life will come to the monument to lay wreaths and pay tribute to the martyrs. The people of Fuxin will never forget the battle to liberate their hometown, the flag that fluttered in the artillery fire, the figure of the army charging under the banner...

The "318" Monument to the Revolutionary Martyrs was completed on March 18, 1988. The stele is composed of three parts: the base, the stele and the stele. The base of the monument is 0.3 meters high, the side length is 6 meters, the concrete structure, the terrazzo cover. The three sides of the east, west, and south are inlaid with reliefs of "Miners' Riots," "Members of the Mongolian People's Brigade," and "Liberation of Fuxin," and on the north side are inlaid with the inscriptions of Comrade Qiu Xinye, former secretary of the Fuxin Municipal CPC Committee.--The heroic style and great spirit will endure forever. The main body of the monument is 8 meters high, with a white jade structure, composed of three steps, a bright aura, a martyr's giant hand and a peace dove with an olive branch.

The three-tiered staircase represents "three", the giant hand of the martyr and the dove of peace represent "one", the olive branch and the ring of light represent "eight", which together symbolize that the anniversary of the liberation of Fuxin is March 18, which means that the revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of Fuxin are buried in the land of Fuxin and stretch out a powerful giant hand, dedicated to people for peace, and their heroic spirit and achievements will live forever and shine with the sun and the moon.

Below the monument is a memorial square of tens of meters square, paved with light yellow cement square bricks, which can accommodate hundreds of people, and the south end of the square has a cement slab road of about 60 meters long, which means that the three groups of Qingtai stone steps on the anniversary of "March 18" are divided into three layers, making the monument appear more solemn and majestic.

Behind the monument, there is also an underground martyrs' columbarium of 40.5 square meters. The room is equipped with 8 sets of lead boxes and gold shelves, and the urns of 147 revolutionary martyrs who died in the War of Liberation and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea are placed on four floors. On the north side of the monument is a rockery made of strange stones, and in the center of the rockery is a rectangular screen wall covered with ink jade marble and trimmed with white marble. The inscription on it reads: Fuxin Nanping Lushan Mountain, east of the Liaohe River, is a strategic place in western Liaoning, known for its rich coal sources, since the 1920s, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, Chinese people's liberation army and revolutionary armed forces of all nationalities harbor the strange hatred of the nation, the righteous indignation of the Zhang class, for national independence and the liberation of Fuxin, galloping on the battlefield, entering and leaving the Tiger's Den, and waged a hard and remarkable struggle.
