In 2003, the liaoning provincial police struck a blow and cracked a series of major murder cases that were then named Shenyang's "Serial No. 54 Case" and the Province's "No. 3 Public Case". This case was a sensation, causing widespread concern in the society and overwhelming reports from various media.
However, because the case was still in the stage of evidence collection and trial, the police did not disclose it in detail, so the inside of the case was rarely known. Today, the author will restore the true context of this case for everyone, and tell the fearless process of the police perseverance, pioneering work, and finally successfully bringing the criminal suspect to justice.

On January 24, 2003, Shenyang outside Guanwai was icy and cold.
On the evening of this day, Liu Ping (pseudonym), a villager in Wang's hometown in Yuhong District, Shenyang City, and his wife Zhao Lanzhi (pseudonym) had dinner, and the two steamed two pots of bean buns and prepared in advance the meal for the next day's Waxing Moon.
In the northeast countryside, every household has the habit of wrapping beans for the New Year. Liu Ping and his wife had a busy day, so they went to bed early at about 9 p.m. However, just as the couple was sleeping, a dark shadow pried open the door and quietly sneaked into the Liu family's house.
Black Shadow quietly touched the bed, took out a sharp knife from his arms, and stabbed Liu Ping and his wife in turn. In his sleep, Liu Ping was stabbed twice in the chest, and if it were not for the quilt, I am afraid that he would have died a long time ago. But even so, Liu Ping, who was seriously injured, fainted several times and could not move.
And Liu Ping's wife, Zhao Lanzhi, was also injured not lightly, after she was stabbed in the chest, she saw her husband pass out in the past, knowing that she was alone in resistance, which would inevitably lead to more crazy retaliation. Therefore, while Zhao Lanzhi endured severe pain, he begged Black Shadow to let the couple go.
At this time, the black shadow ignored Zhao Lanzhi's bitter pleading, and with a sly smile, pounced on kang to forcibly violate her. Zhao Lanzhi was originally seriously injured, and she was frantically torn and violated by the demons, and finally she gradually lost her breath in the mixture of grief and anger.
At the same time that his wife was violated, Liu Ping, who was seriously injured and lying on the side, was sometimes unconscious and sometimes awake, but he was powerless to rescue him in the face of demonic behavior. Whenever he briefly awoke from his coma, he would exert all his strength, but in a very low voice, begging the devil to spare his wife. However, Liu Ping's intermittent pleading still failed to awaken the humanity and conscience of the black shadow, and he still violated Zhao Lanzhi unscrupulously and madly.
Liu Ping fell into a coma again. And when he woke up again, Kang Shang's wife had long since stopped moving. However, what shocked Liu Ping even more was that the man who broke into the home and committed the murder did not leave at this time! After the man rummaged around for money, he seemed to have noticed that Liu Ping had woken up, but he obviously did not pay attention to Liu Ping, who was seriously injured.
The man sat on a stool in the middle of the ground, lit a cigarette, and smoked a cigarette unhurriedly while having a conversation with Liu Ping. He first said to himself, "The whole house has not turned over much money, but you have such a big TV set, and VCD, which is much better than my family." ”
Then, the man looked up and asked Liu Ping, "How old are you?" Have children? Liu Ping replied, "I am forty-four years old, and my child is seventeen years old, and I have gone to his grandfather's house." The man smiled strangely and said, "You are only four years older than me, and you look quite young, but your child is not at home. ”
At this time, the man had stayed in Liu's house for more than two hours, so Liu Ping's body had recovered. When he heard the man's words, he suddenly became alert. At this time, the man snuffed out the cigarette butt, jumped to the kang and pulled up the curtain, and shouted at Liu Ping: "Head outward, face down, Lao Tzu will make up a knife for you!" With that, the man pounced on Liu Ping.
At the moment of life and death, Liu Ping did not know where a force came from, he got up and violently dragged the horn, and the man's foot slipped and fell on the kang. Immediately afterward, Liu Pinglian took the quilt and suppressed the man to death, and desperately cried out for help. At this time, Liu Ping's brother, who lived next door, heard the shouting and rushed over with the guy.
After the man struggled to break free, he stabbed Liu Ping again on the left side of his back before fleeing in a hurry. Subsequently, Liu Ping's younger brother, who was stabbed three times and was unconscious, was rushed to a nearby hospital for rescue and reported to the police at the first time.
After receiving the report, the police quickly rushed to the scene of the incident to investigate and collect evidence, and learned from Liu Pingkou, who was subsequently rescued by surgery and rescue, that the suspect was about forty years old, about 1 meter 58 tall, short and thin, with a lot of red bumps on his face, and a northeastern accent, much like the locals in Shenyang.
Since there were very few clues available at the scene, the police then invited a professor from the China Criminal Police Academy to draw a more realistic portrait of the murderer based on Liu Ping's description of the suspect's appearance. Public security cadres and policemen compared the images and went deep into the whole city of Shenyang to investigate and arrest the murderers. Then the suspect disappeared without a trace as if the human world had evaporated. The police arrested for half a year, but still found nothing.
At a time when the investigation was at an impasse, the Shenyang Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Liaoning Provincial Public Security Department conducted joint research and joint handling of this homicide case. After careful analysis, they believe that this case is extremely similar to the murder of the Forestry College of Shenyang Agricultural University a year ago, and the multiple murders near the North-South Canal of Shenyang three years ago, and the crime targets and methods are extremely similar, much like the same murderer's actions.
On the evening of October 17, 2002, Li Qingji (pseudonym), a 23-year-old man living in Maguanqiao, Tanglin District, and his girlfriend Chen Lili (pseudonym) had dinner and went for a walk in the botanical garden of the forestry college practice base of Shenyang Agricultural University. Just as the two of them stopped in a secluded place to qingqing me, a man suddenly broke out from the depths of the woods, and there were two knives at Li Qingji's neck, and Li Qingji immediately fell in a pool of blood.
Subsequently, the man turned a deaf ear to Chen Lili's helpless pleas and stabbed her three times in the neck and back, causing Chen Lili to be punctured in her arteries and eventually lost too much blood and died. What is heinous is that after the murderer was injured twice in a flash, he did not spare Chen Lili, who had already died, but insulted and violated the body. After committing a heinous crime, the murderer rode away on the victim's purple 26-beam bicycle.
As early as three years ago, a number of parks near the North-South Canal in Shenyang City had a number of bizarre murders in less than 4 months.
In the early morning of May 9, 2000, the police received a report from a local vegetable farmer, Huang Laohan, saying that the bodies of two victims, a man and a woman, had been found on the east bank of the South Canal on Xiannongtan Road in Shenhe District. The police immediately rushed to the scene to investigate the body and launched a visit and investigation around the identity of the deceased. After the scene investigation, the deceased were all young people about 20 years old, and both of them were stabbed in the left chest, and both died by piercing the heart. After her death, the young woman was stripped naked and assaulted. During the visit, the police further learned that the two victims were migrant workers from Jilin Laishen, who worked at the Chengnan Hotel before they died, and the two were lovers.
Just as the police launched an investigation into the murder, on May 10 and 11, there were a number of couples murdered in the North Canal General Park and the northwest corner of Beiling Park in Shenyang's Huanggu District, and 10 people were killed, including 3 young women who were killed and violated.
On the evening of September 18, 2000, another case of life was committed near the North Canal in Shenyang. That night, Zhang Chi (pseudonym), who lives in The Industrious Lane of Desheng Road, dated his girlfriend Liu Yun (pseudonym) for one night and did not return. The next day, someone found the bodies of Zhang Chi and Liu Yun on the west bank of the North Canal in Linqing Lane in the Dadong District, and immediately reported the case to the police.
After the police inquest, it was confirmed that Zhang Chi and Liu Yun were both stabbed in the left chest, fatally and stabbed the heart to death. The pockets of the two victims were turned over, and Liu Yun was insulted and violated after being killed. The same is true of the murder of the College of Forestry of Shenyang Agricultural University two years later: the murderer also rode away the victim's slanted beam bicycle, and then disappeared into the night.
The successive murders of couples around Shenyang have aroused the great attention of the Shenyang Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Liaoning Provincial Public Security Department, who analyzed and believed that: First, the means of committing crimes are cruel and the methods are similar. The victims were all stabbed in the left chest and neck, and the suspects did not leave a living mouth when committing crimes, and they were by no means like the first-time offenders; second, they were extremely familiar with the environment of Shenyang. The murderer quickly escaped after committing the crime, and then disappeared, apparently with a hiding place near Shenyang;
Third, the murderer committed a very strange crime. Young men and women are singled out, and often insulted and abused after the murder of women. The police also deduced from this that the murderer was very likely to have encountered emotional setbacks and had a strong sense of pathological revenge against society, especially women.
However, because the suspect is extremely cunning and has a strong sense of anti-reconnaissance and ability, there are almost no traces of clues at the scene, so it is extremely difficult for the police to detect. To this end, the Shenyang police have worked hard to promote the detection of the case on the basis of increasing the intensity of social patrol prevention and control, combined with the law and location of the murderer's crime.
In the second half of 2000, for several months, the police dispatched dozens of couples disguised as male and female policemen in various parks near Shenyang's North-South Canal to capture the killer in one fell swoop when he committed another crime. However, in the face of the vast net laid by the police, the suspect evaporated like a human being and disappeared without a trace.
It was not until the death case of the College of Forestry of Shenyang Agricultural University in 2002 that the police were keenly aware that the criminal suspect who had disappeared from the scene had begun to commit crimes again. The police once again increased the social surface control and investigation and visit work, and sent a number of groups of plainclothes police disguised as couples, and once again opened the net in many park places in the city.
However, the cunning murderer, as if smelling uneasiness, once again closed his hands and hid.
When Liu Ping was seriously injured and Liu Lanzhi was killed and humiliated in 2003, the police initially did not link the case to the murder of a couple a few years earlier. One of the reasons is that in many murders a few years ago, the murderers did not leave a living mouth, but this time Liu Ping was lucky to survive; the second reason, the murders of several years ago, the targets were young couples, and this time they were middle-aged couples, and the location of the crime was changed from the park to the door-to-door crime.
However, with the application of medical technology in case detection, a series of case detection has made great progress. In June 2003, the Criminal Division of the Public Security Department of Liaoning Province, after an identification of the semen DNA of the extracted criminal suspects, confirmed that many homicides in Shenyang in the past three years were committed by the same murderer.
Subsequently, the Shenyang Municipal Public Security Bureau listed the case as "Series No. 54 Case", and the Provincial Department also designated it as the "Third Public Case" in the province. The police at the provincial and municipal levels immediately adjusted the direction and thinking of the investigation work in response to the characteristics of the criminal suspects jumping and wandering around.
In particular, based on the judgment that the murderer is a habitual offender and a repeat offender, the police, while pursuing the murderer in the face of society, adopt reverse thinking and uniquely list the prison and detention center detainees as a breakthrough in the detection of the case. Subsequently, the city's public procuratorial and legal organs jointly carried out the meritorious activity of "digging deep into crimes and reporting and exposing crimes" in detention centers and prisons.
On June 25, Liu Dong (pseudonym), a suspect arrested at the Dadong Detention Center for robbery, reported that his friend Wang Qiang might have been saddled with multiple homicides. According to Liu Dong's account, Wang Qiang once looked for him once a few months ago, claiming that he would take advantage of the rainy day to go to the park and the canal to commit a crime, and when the knife was bright, the couples did not dare to resist.
After careful digging, the police learned that Wang Qiang's family lived in the Kaiyuan countryside, and the physical characteristics of Wang Qiang described by Liu Dong were consistent with the physical appearance of the criminal suspect described by Liu Ping in Wangjia Village. In the end, the police identified Wang Qiang as the real murderer of the series of murders.
On July 14, 2003, when the Shenyang police received accurate information confirming that Wang Qiang was operating near Waipu Village in Majiazhai Town, Kaiyuan, they immediately sent four criminal police officers to Waibao Village to carry out arrests with the assistance of the local police station. At 15:20, the crowd had just entered the village of Waibao in a jeep, and they met Wang Qiang, who was wandering around, at the entrance of the village.
In order to avoid hitting the grass and snake, the police asked the driver to continue driving forward. When the vehicle passed by Wang Qiang, several criminal policemen jumped out of the car and threw Wang Qiang to the ground, and everyone worked together to capture him in one fell swoop.
Wang Qiang was escorted back to Shenyang, faced with police interrogation, and wang Qiang, who knew that sooner or later it would be the end of the situation, immediately confessed to all his crimes. Through Wang Qiang's confession, the police also learned about the past and present lives of this demon.
Wang Qiang was born in 1975 in Xinghua Village, Zhonggu Town, Kaiyuan City. From the beginning of his memory, his father Wang Xueguo was addicted to gambling, winning money to drink every day, and beating and cursing Wang Qiang's mother and son when he lost money. In 1983, Wang Xueguo and his wife divorced, and 8-year-old Wang Qiang lived with his father.
Not long after, Wang Xueguo was sentenced to 11 years in prison for seriously injuring people in a fight. Wang Qiang did not want to live in his grandparents' house, and since then he has begun a life of begging and wandering. In 1984, at the age of 9, Wang Qiang climbed into a van and wandered to Shenyang.
Since then, Wang Qiang has been wandering and begging in the area of Shenyang Station and Taiyuan Street. Because of his small stature, he was often bullied or beaten. Later, Wang Qiang learned to take out a bag with a thief, and since then he has eaten a full meal. However, as he grew older, Wang Qiang, who grew up, became bolder and bolder.
One day in October 1993, Wang Qiang, who felt that he had no big deal with his wallet, carried a sharp knife and looked around for the target in the Alley of Taiyuan Street. In the evening, a man in a suit and leather shoes happened to pass by, and Wang Qiang rushed up and forced the man with a knife and stole 20,000 yuan.
Wang Qiang, who tasted the "sweetness", has since been "upgraded" from a thief to a robber, and his criminal career has also risen to a higher level. Since 1994, Wang Qiang and several brothers have committed nearly 100 crimes in Shenyang, Tieling and Kaiyuan, robbing tens of thousands of yuan of money.
In early 1996, Wang Qiang was reported by his girlfriend and sentenced to three years of re-education through labor. However, during the period of labor reform, Wang Qiang secretly exchanged "experiences" with other prisoners and repeatedly pondered the means and techniques of committing crimes.
On December 4, 1998, after Wang Qiang was released from prison, he continued to return to his old business and started the "old business" of robbery. On the evening of May 8, 2000, after Wang Qiang killed a couple on the east bank of the South Canal on Xiannongtan Road and insulted the bodies of the female victims, he felt a grudge that had been accumulated in his chest for many years.
It turned out that in Wang Qiang's heart, he thought that he had suffered family misfortune since he was a child, and society also owed him a lot, and the woman he loved actually exposed and denounced him, so Wang Qiang transferred his hatred for his girlfriend to the innocent victim.
In the next two days, Wang Qiang committed crazy crimes in General Park and Beiling Park, killing 5 couples successively, then looting and violating female victims.
Subsequently, Wang Qiang, who felt the pressure of the police to pursue, began to restrain his tracks and committed only one crime in two years. It was not until January 24, 2003, when he lost his hand in Wang's hometown, that the police learned of Wang Qiang's physical characteristics from the mouth of Liu Ping, a "living mouth", that he first revealed the true face of Lushan.
On July 25, 2005, the Shenyang Intermediate People's Court sentenced Wang Qiang to death, and in accordance with the SPC's order to execute the death penalty, Wang Qiang was identified and taken to the execution site for execution.
A human sin was staged by Wang Qiang under the guise of hypocrisy such as "childhood misfortune", "social indebtedness" and "girlfriend betrayal", but it could not hide his inner distortion and ugliness.
Through the detection of this series of major cases, the author also realized that the detection of any criminal case is not as easy as people think, and it is far from being as easy as film and television works, and it requires cadres and policemen to pay hard work for this.
Wang Qiang was brought to justice and returned justice in the world. In the era when Skynet has not yet been fully rolled out and DNA comparison technology has not yet been widely used, in the face of the difficult challenge of lack of strong evidence at the scene, the police have faced difficulties and made persevering efforts for the final detection of the case through various measures such as disguised investigation, patrol prevention and control, and investigation and visit.
What is particularly commendable is that when the police entered a dead end in the investigation of the case, they took a unique path, adopted reverse thinking, and finally played a decisive role in the detection of the case by reporting and exposing the special group of detainees.
Just as the so-called devil is one foot high, the road is high, thank you for paying tribute to every public security officer who contributed to the detection of this case, thank you for your heavy fist to fight evil, fight wits and courage with the devil, and finally bring the devil to justice, so that the evil hidden in the shadows is finally revealed to the world!
