One of the oldest schools in Shaoshan, the two glorious years of Shiping School

author:The Great Song dynasty has an eastern slope

Shaoshan Jiangyan Hope School, more well known as Shiping School.

However, Shiping School is actually a name that was only named very late.

Today, a friend sent me the electronic version of Teacher Jiang Changpeng's "Yanglin Township Chronicle", combined with the old man's "Pingyang Miscellaneous Tricks", the record of the history of Shiping School, let's review the two glorious years of Shiping School together.

The reason why we want to use the word brilliant, I have to admit that this school is very different from what we think.

There are only two to blame, nothing else to blame.

First, there are too few children now;

Second, the countryside could not retain people, so they all ran to the cities.

Shiping School's first glorious years, in 1945.

At that time, she called the Jiang Tingyi School.

This is one of the oldest schools in Shaoshan.

In the fourth year of Guangxu (1878), the villagers of the Jiang clan donated it.

Among them, Jiang Xianyu has the most, with 200 taels.

One is one hanging, 1000 coins, theoretically, can be exchanged for silver one or two.

But silver is precious and copper is cheap, in fact, a hanging and one or two silver, are not equivalent.

Of course, this is not important, what is important is that soon, listening to the Yi family school will be set up.

Yi is Yi training, the meaning of the elders' teachings, and listening to Yi is naturally listening to the words of the elders.

Come here to study, poor children do not charge tuition;

If the results are good, the prize will be given to Xuegu.

In 1912, after the fall of the Qing Dynasty, the Yi family school was changed to a new-style primary school, and all children with the surname could come to study.

It was not too early to say that at that time, many places had new primary schools, middle schools, and universities.

It is not too late to say that it is not too late, in the hinterland of the vast hinterland, between the lofty mountains and mountains, many years later, there will be such a school.

The first principal, Jiang Longxin, graduated from the Hunan Gongli South Road Normal School and was a senior intellectual.

The South Road Normal School is today's Hengyang Normal School.

To put it bluntly, many children now can't pass the exam if they want to.

From this, it can be seen that Jiang Long believes in cattle very much.

The "Yanglin Township Chronicle" writes:

The second Jiang Duanfu was succeeded from 1924 to 1937, because Mr. Duanfu was a self-taught talent, there was no qualified academic qualification, in 1937, the Chiang Clan School invited a university graduate Xiao Yanbin to be the principal for three years, the fourth principal Jiang Yinzhi graduated from the fourth class of the Normal Department of The Governor County Middle School, and took over as the principal after 1939. For more than ten years from 1937 to 1949, he taught at the Yi School as a multi-department teacher training graduate or high school graduate.

The War of Resistance was victorious and all was destroyed.

Although Yang Lin was lucky enough to escape the soldiers, the school that relied on the Ancestral Hall of Chiang Kai-shek's Shaonan Gong was old, and more importantly, there were more and more students, and the main hall where the ancestral tablets were placed was used as a classroom.

Therefore, in the winter of 1945, the reconstruction began, and the following year it was completed -

In front of it, two-story buildings were built, eight additional classrooms, more than 20 staff dormitories, more than 500 students, and more than 20 teachers, which was the largest school in the township at that time.

In contrast, at that time, the other schools in the township were mostly "one teacher per school, one class, and more than twenty students."

The second glory years, in 1989.

After 1949, the establishment of Shiping Village has changed from time to time, and the name of the school has been changed several times, and Shiping School has been called since 1969.

After that, he also separated from the primary school, that is, Yanglin Middle School.

Although the Zhishu is to record history and lay out more straight narratives, Teacher Jiang Changpeng, as an old teacher of Shiping School, has made a lot of effort to save this school, so he still hides his excitement in the book:

In January 1989, the government mobilized all villagers to raise funds to build The Shiping School, the central primary school in Yanglin Township, and sent a letter to overseas alumni calling for support.

In December, Yanglin Township Central Primary School (formerly known as Jiang's Listening Yi School, which began in 1878), a new teaching building was completed, and the villagers were very happy!

In September of that year, I started attending kindergarten.

Although the memory is incomplete, I still remember:

Our classroom, in the upper left corner of the campus, next to the auditorium;

That one is two stories, the floors are made of wood, and the stairs are also made of wood.

Teacher, surname Tan.

On the right side of the teaching building, is the teachers' dormitory, under the back window of the dormitory, there is a wide side of the ditch, when doing sanitation, the older students, in the mud loach ...

Remember my father going to pick up dirt bricks, and the debris dust fell around him...

I remember this very clearly, but it was a little vague.

Presumably, the new school building was built after the start of my kindergarten class.

There were more than forty people in the class at that time, which was much more lively than it is now.

That year, it can be said that Nirvana was reborn, everything was new, full of vitality, and infinite hope.

Children from Waping, Xinzhuang and Yanglin villages all come here to study in the sixth grade.

Today, I talked about the things I did when I was a student in the elementary school group, but I felt that time was fleeting and passed too quickly.

Recently, I often think that Shiping School does not know how many years it can be opened, and the current school building will become a cultural relic, and the old school of that year, if anyone has a photo, it will be good!
