On the afternoon of October 16, in changmo village of Baiselong forest in Guangxi, a man accidentally fell into a natural cave about 8 meters deep when he was taking out garbage. After the local villagers rescued themselves without success, they dialed 119 for help.
The cave where the man fell was a natural cave, about 8 meters deep, because the cave was not far from the villagers' residences, and some villagers dumped household garbage into it.
In the afternoon of the same day, the trapped man went to the mouth of the cave to take out the garbage, probably because the road was slippery on a rainy day, and accidentally fell into it.
Firefighters used a rescue ladder to enter the cave and soon found the trapped man.
After more than an hour of rescue, the trapped man was finally pulled out of the hole by firefighters and handed over to the medical staff at the scene for treatment. Fortunately, although this cave is 8 meters deep, it is not completely vertical, and when the man fell, he slid down the slope into the hole, so that he was not seriously injured.
Firefighter Liu Zhixiang: It was found that the trapped people were on the top of the garbage heap, because this is a place where garbage has been piled up for a long time, the bottom is relatively soft, and the gravity will collapse when it is stepped on.
In this regard, firefighters remind everyone that the terrain environment of the cave is complicated, and it is best not to approach it in case it falls accidentally.
