Cat's claw grass is commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine, also known as three scattered grass, yellow flower grass, cat's claw grass, the medicinal part is dried root. It grows in the grass of the field, roadside, depression and hillside, and has the effect of dissolving phlegm, detoxifying and swelling.
First, the role of cat's claw should be avoided
According to the "Handbook of Chinese Herbal Medicines", "Henan Handbook of Chinese Herbal Medicine" and other pharmacopoeias, its:
【Medicinal properties】Sweet and spicy, warm, return to the liver, lung meridians.
【Indications for function】Detoxification and swelling, sputum dispersion. Indications for the treatment of fistula, tuberculosis, laryngitis, boils, snake bites, malaria, migraines, toothache.
【Dosage】 Root medicinal use. May be applied internally or externally. For internal use: decoction, 9-15 g. External use: appropriate amount, grinding powder.
【Use should be avoided】Cat's claw grass has a small poison and should not be used for a long time. May be applied externally.
Modern pharmacological studies have shown that cat's claw has the following three effects:

Chinese medicine believes that fistula is what we often call the lymph nodes that occur in the neck or armpit, and cat's claw has a good effect on it.
1. Fistula phlegm nucleus: this taste is spicy and scattered, can dissolve phlegm turbidity, and eliminate depression.

Because cat's claw has the effect of detoxifying and reducing swelling and dissolving sputum, it is often used in the treatment of ENT hypertrophic diseases such as adenoid hypertrophy, pharyngeal lymphatic hyperplasia, vocal cord nodules, polyps, and vocal cord hypertrophy in children in clinical practice. At the same time, due to the introduction of cat's claw into the liver meridian, it can also treat migraines caused by insomnia or depression.

Cat's claw grass powder, vinegar adjustment applied to the affected area, has the ability to break the stasis and scatter the knot. Apply 30 grams of cat's claw grass externally, mash, vinegar to form a viscous consistency, and apply to the surface of the carbuncle or fistula. Fat sea cat's claw grass stew partridge
Application: Relieves dry throat pain and hoarseness.
Ingredients: 1 fat sea, 20 grams of cat's claw grass, 1 partridge, 100 grams of lean meat, 2 dates, 2 slices of ginger (one person).
Method: Wash and cut the partridge into pieces, fly water and then fish it out; wash the fat sea and cat's claw grass and set aside; cut the lean meat into small pieces. Put the above ingredients together in a pot, add 2.5 liters of water, bring to a boil over high heat, reduce the heat to a low heat for two hours, and then drink soup and eat meat after seasoning.
Cat's claw puffed fish cheek stew lean broth
Applicable: For men who often stay up late, drink too much, and have a large breath on fire, women can prevent breast hyperplasia, and children can treat lymphadenopathy (children under 3 years of age are contraindicated).
Ingredients: 20 grams of cat's claw, 25-30 grams of puffed fish gills, lean meat, 3-5 figs (or 2 dates), ginger slices.
Method: Cat's claw grass and puffed fish gills need to be soaked more than 3 hours in advance, cat's claw grass needs to be repeatedly cleaned to wash off the mud on the surface, puffed fish gills are soft and take the toothbrush to carefully brush off the surface sand, pork lean meat cut into pieces under the cold water pot after blanching water and wash and spare, all the materials are prepared and put into the casserole pot to heat the water without material, stew for 2-3 hours.
