Many of our fanciers study the eyes of pigeons, and the eye cluster is an important part. So what is the dot eye cluster? The so-called pigeon dot eye cluster is a kind of crystal-like particle that appears in the pupil of the pigeon's eye. There are usually pigeons. However, some pigeons cannot be seen with the naked eye and need to be able to use a magnifying glass, and some can be clearly seen directly with the naked eye. Pigeons that can be seen directly with the naked eye are considered by many fanciers to be excellent breeders and racing pigeons. However, there are also fanciers who do not understand and think that the pigeons have problems and are eliminated.

Pigeons can be divided into two types of pigeon eye clusters, one is the point eye, one is the bush eye, these two are the point eye cluster. The dot eye clusters are not exactly the same, there are some differences, and sometimes there are some differences in the color because of the difference in the eye sand. Let's start with this point. The so-called point eye, in fact, is this point eye cluster, that is, there is only one grain or a point in the pupil, generally the yellow eye is golden yellow, and the sand eye is silver white. Let's talk about this cluster of eyes, so the name wanton is a little richer in form, not a little but a cluster.
The dot eye cluster sometimes fades a little, and sometimes it grows a little. For example, when you are not in good shape, you may be a little smaller, and a little older as you get older or the flight time increases. But many times fanciers do not see a noticeable change. The point eye cluster is also inherited, sometimes directly, sometimes generationally.
There has always been a saying about the dot eye clump, that is, if a pigeon can directly see the dot eye clump, then the pigeon race may not be good, but if the pigeon itself is good, it will often be good to do the breeding. If a pigeon with a good performance has a bit of an eye, then the breed is even better. Unfortunately, many pigeons are currently difficult to see the existence of dot eye clusters with the naked eye.
Therefore, when you see that there are some lenses in the pupils of pigeons, do not directly think that the pigeons are problematic. We should note that this is probably a very good thing.
