"Sister Ting" is not only a counselor for the class of 2017 students, but also a counselor for the students of the class of 2020, and also the class teacher of the graduate students of Limin College. Zhou Ting's love for students is like spring rain, moisturizing and silent, soaking in the bits and pieces of life. In the daily work of students, we will understand the students' thoughts, learning and life in depth and meticulously. As soon as the 20th grade students entered the school, Zhou Ting established a personal file for each student, recording the basic information, personality characteristics, hobbies and specialties and growth of the students.

Zhou Ting is well aware that the current form of employment is severe, the society's requirements for college students are getting higher and higher, and the development of students is of great benefit. In the third year of the 17th grade students, they vigorously encouraged students to go to graduate school, and repeatedly organized the successful students of the 16th grade examination to guide and encourage the students of the 17th grade, analyze the current situation to them, and solve problems for their road to graduate school. On the occasion of the entrance examination, Zhou Ting also personally prepared a test kit and a postcard of blessings for each graduate student.

"There are no two identical leaves in the world, every student has its own characteristics, as a teacher, you should be able to teach according to your aptitude." Zhou Ting recalled, "One of the things that impressed me the most was the result of my comprehensive test, there was a student in the class who usually did not perform very well, often late, pretending to be sick for leave, I gave him a minimum score, and then he came to the office to find me, asked why his score was the lowest, opened the conversation box on this grounds, talked a lot, I often paid attention to him. Later, this student suddenly woke up, changed his previous decadent state, studied seriously, actively lived, and eventually studied in Japan. He messaged me that it was my score that woke him up. ”
For Zhou Ting, the biggest gain in her work is to witness the growth of students.

"I like the work of counselors, I think that a good counselor must first truly love students, really care about the growth of students; secondly, have a solid theoretical foundation, understand the relevant documents and policies of counselors' work, and actively learn sociology, psychology and other related knowledge; third, we must strive to improve our own skills and enhance our own professional capabilities; finally, counselors are a career worth fighting for life, and we must establish the ideal and belief of lifelong learning and keep pace with the times."
There are no small things in the school, education everywhere, no subsections for teachers, and role models everywhere. For the position of counselor, Zhou Ting always maintains a sense of awe, reverence for the responsibility and mission of this role.

In terms of teaching, we undertake military theory classes for two consecutive years, use the rest time to prepare lessons conscientiously, strive to make students gain something from each lesson, and carry out ideological education for students through relevant knowledge of national defense and military affairs. In the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic year, he will undertake the "World History" course at the Dushan Preparatory Campus, get along with the students of the preparatory department, and accumulate experience for the education and guidance of new students.
In terms of scientific research, in 2020, he published a paper in the magazine "Youth Years" entitled "Exploration of the Path to Improving the Ability of Ideological and Political Education Work of College Counselors in the New Era"; guided the innovation and entrepreneurship project of college students "The Protection and Inheritance of Cultural Heritage in the Third Line of Qiannan Based on short video platform" was approved at the provincial level; and participated in the guizhou provincial education planning project "Research on the Correct Path of "Four Histories" Education and the Correct Path of Historical Concept of College Students".
