Before his speech, Lu Yang donated his competition uniforms for the Tokyo Olympics to his alma mater. In his speech, Lu Yang shared his difficult growth trajectory. Teachers and students deeply felt from Lu Yang's speech that the hardships behind the gold medal are far more than ordinary people imagine, both physically and psychologically; the road to success of a champion must go through the tempering of phoenix nirvana and rebirth. "We will not forget our original intentions, continue to work hard, and make all preparations for the conquest of Paris!" Lu Yang said.
