Tonight (October 20), a large-scale national orchestra concert with strong Lingnan characteristics, "Music from Dawan", will be staged at the Beijing Tianqiao Art Center, and the "Tribute to the 22nd Anniversary of Macao's Return to the Motherland and the Establishment of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone" Zhuhai National Orchestra Jinjing Exhibition and Performance Activity officially kicked off.
In the ten days from today, the organizers will launch four zhuhai local high-quality repertoire performances in Beijing, and cooperate with the holding of a large-scale symposium on the national symphony suite "Rhododendron and Golden Lotus", which is full of excitement and highlights.

Happy to show the Lingnan style from The Great Bay
Tonight's performance of "Music from Dawan" at Beijing Tianqiao Art Center, the whole concert is based on Lingnan music, through the adaptation of "Sai Long Wins the Gold", "Homesick Song", "Entertainment Shengping" and other Guangdong famous songs for national orchestra performance, supplemented by Guangdong "five heads" for series, and at the same time combined with Zhuhai's history and culture, customs and folklore, humanistic legends to arrange "Spring Rain", "Lychee Red", "Awakening Lion , Dragon Boat" and other songs with Lingnan secular mood, using the "Cantonese" flavored national music vocabulary to tell the story of Zhuhai, Inherit the traditional culture of Guangdong characteristics.
The concert not only carried out new explorations and innovations in instrumental instrumentation, playing methods, and orchestra preparation, but also broke through the traditional performance forms of national music in stage design. A large number of multimedia designs are integrated into the stage, especially the second and third chapters of "Cliff Rock Carvings", "Sea Fisher Girl", "Sea Born Bright Moon", "Sigh Morning Tea" and other programs, traditional folk music performance and modern dance technology are perfectly integrated, folk music combined with vocal music, dance and other situational performances are presented, so that the whole concert is fashionable and novel, not only can be listened to, but also can be watched.
"Music from Dawan" is the first anniversary of the establishment of the young Zhuhai National Orchestra, after the premiere in Guangzhou in September 2020, the response was extremely enthusiastic, the praise was overwhelming, the first time to participate in the 14th Guangdong Provincial Arts Festival won the silver medal of the play, is one of the first Zhuhai Arts Festival in 2021.

On the evening of October 24th, led by famous composer and conductor He Zhanhao, professor of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and conducted by famous conductor Peng Fei, the Zhuhai National Orchestra under Zhuhai Performing Arts Group will present an exciting concert for Peking University's centennial hall.
The concert invited Duan Chao, a young erhu player of the Central Chinese Orchestra, an erhu player, a national first-class actor Duan Hao, and the Philharmonic Male Vocal Choir to perform together. The performance style is magnificent and sonorous, opening with "Ili Riverside" and ending with "Hero's Tears", which has both lyrical and beautiful slow plates and lively and beating melodies, and in the poetic musical language, it slowly unfolds a magnificent revolutionary picture, conveys a kind of perseverance, and gives a vivid music party lesson for the majority of teachers and students.
In July 2019, Mr. He Zhanhao was invited by the Propaganda Department of the Zhuhai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China to serve as the artistic consultant of the Zhuhai National Orchestra. In the special concert, "Hero's Tears" and other red suites were re-written by Teacher He Zhanhao at the age of 86, in order to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Party and promote the younger generation of the Zhuhai National Orchestra.
Rhododendron and golden lotus meet to tell the story of the Bay Area
The large-scale National Symphony Suite "Rhododendron and Golden Lotus" will be performed at the Shunyi Grand Theatre on the evening of October 28 and officially premiered at the National Centre for the Performing Arts on the evening of October 29, with strong support and guidance from the Propaganda Department of the Macao Central Liaison Office and the Bauhinia Cultural Group. The full suite consists of 14 vocal suites and ethnic orchestras, starting from the opening overture "Praise - 1999", "Sail Shadow", "Water Language", "Hehuan", "Flower Dream", "Tide Sound", "Green Shade", "Flying Rainbow", "Lang Ben", "Lotus Heart", "Harmony", "Dianjing", "Pilot" and other sub-songs as promised, and the epilogue "Tribute - 2049" echoes with the opening chapter, through the national music expression of the large-scale national symphony suite, expounding the great practice of "one country, two systems" after the return of Macao to the motherland in 1999, in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Under the background of the construction of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone, the people of Zhuhai and Macao have the same brotherhood and integrated development of the interdependent relationship, and fully display the harmonious and beautiful music of the Zhuhai-Macao family.
The main creative team of "Cuckoo and Golden Lotus" specially invited Zhu Hai, a famous planner and writer, and the core creator of major national literary and artistic performances such as "The Great Journey", a large-scale episodic epic celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, to compose lyrics; Meng Weidong, a famous composer, vice chairman of the Chinese Musicians Association, and Meng Weidong, author of famous songs such as "The Same Song" and "Sleepless Tonight"; and Li Fubin, conductor, professor of composition and director of the Department of Chinese Music, of Xinghai Conservatory of Music, composed music. Zhuhai National Orchestra will also invite a number of Macao players to join the orchestra to share the deep feelings of Zhuhai and Macao, and join hands with the Beijing Philharmonic Male Vocal Choir and the Choir of the Central Conservatory of Music to perform together, with a performance lineup of more than 200 people. The Beijing premiere will also feature the famous conductor Liu Sha to take the lead.
The organizers will also hold an expert seminar on the large-scale ethnic symphony suite "Rhododendron and Golden Lotus" on the morning of October 30.
