Lecture Introduction

This lecture will be the last public lecture in the "Tree, Tree" exhibition series, and we are very honored to invite Sun Ying, Vice President of China National Geographic Magazine, to bring us a keynote speech entitled "Green City", which will focus on "Development and Integration between Trees and Cities".

Trees serve as a bridge between nature and the city – from the ancients' yearning for the ideal home to the current public's further understanding of livable urban life, trees have always played a very important role in human life. At present, the development of cities is facing many challenges, and how to make cities better blend with nature has become an important proposition for urban development. While trees inject far-reaching and vigorous vitality into cities, it is all the more necessary for human beings to understand and build a harmonious relationship between nature and people in order to achieve "sustainable development" in the true sense. In this lecture, the speaker will respond in detail to the above issues in urban development, and tell the story in four chapters: "Ideal Home", "Trees and Cities", "Urban Parks" and "Integration into Nature".
