There's a movie where a building is full of people, but they're all poor and old. The building is collapsing at a slow pace, and finally after someone finds out and reports it to the government, it wants to kill all those who know because of its own interests. This is almost impossible in reality, but it is a real reflection of the current situation in Russia. This is today's movie "The Fool of the Dangerous Building"
The story mainly tells that the protagonist Ji Ma is a plumber who has taught himself a lot of engineering knowledge. On this day, the heating pipes of a building suddenly leaked, and he was ordered to repair it. When he arrived, he found that the main structure of the building was constantly tilting. He used his knowledge to calculate that the building would soon collapse!
When he got home, his thoughts kept on him. He contacted a friend and found the female mayor. But the female mayor is throwing a birthday party. He went to his birthday party. He saw places that were completely different from his own lives. Precious sake, fine ingredients. Everyone is touting the actions of the female mayor. And when the plumber said that a building of eight hundred people was collapsing, everyone thought it was impossible. One after another blamed the plumbers. The female mayor ordered real estate developers and land development project leaders to follow the plumbers to investigate the truth. And they are discussing countermeasures.
From this we see a completely corrupt leadership system, in which everyone changes the original situation and accuses the other side of embezzling money and shirking responsibility. It wasn't until the female mayor was really angry that she began to really realize the seriousness of the matter. All the people present were ordered to act immediately, and the police station, the fire station, and various departments went to the scene of the dangerous building to evacuate the eight hundred people.
The female mayor went alone, ordering her men to destroy all the book materials, and on the other hand, she went to another big real estate developer and begged him to vacate the only building in the city that had been built but had not yet been inhabited to house the victims (the housing conditions in the city were relatively tight).
The real estate developer rejected himself, he understood the intention of the female mayor, he would not be her scapegoat, when the female mayor was the most powerless, the confidants around him told himself, this road is not going to work, you only have to take the risk. A car took the original three-man squad to the open space, the real estate developers of the dangerous building immediately knew their intentions, the female mayor wanted to kill people, put all the responsibility on the two of them, the most heinous real estate developer did a good deed before dying, he interceded for the honest man, let the police (killer) release this innocent person.
At the end of the story, the plumber runs back to the building to evacuate the crowd, but is punched and kicked by the crowd as a troublemaker. The film ends behind black court with the sound of the building collapsing.
The film seems to be constantly questioning the audience in a propulsive manner. Corrupt politics, incompetent officials, and unconcerned masses are introduced. This top-down inaction and indifference reflect the current reality of Russian society, and the director satirizes the harsh social problems in a small way.
