Foshan Daily News Reporter Ni Yujie Correspondent Fu Tao reported: Yesterday, the Green and Low-Carbon Transformation Standardization Technology Seminar and the Seventh Green Production and Consumption Exchange Conference were held in Shunde. The meeting released the "White Paper on Standardization of Hydrogen Energy Industry" with the participation of Foshan Institute of Quality and Standardization and other units, and held the launching ceremony of the Green and Low-carbon Professional Committee of the China Association for Standardization in Foshan.
In recent years, Foshan has taken energy conservation and carbon reduction as a starting point for promoting economic and social development and comprehensive green transformation, and accelerated the green upgrading of energy and industrial structure. Deng Canrong, deputy secretary-general of the municipal government, said that during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, Foshan's carbon emission intensity decreased by 30.92%, exceeding the target of 23% issued by the province. At present, Foshan has built three major hydrogen energy industry bases, bringing together more than 100 emerging enterprises and innovation platforms, hydrogen energy infrastructure construction leads the country, nearly 1500 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles have been invested, and has been approved to lead the formation of a demonstration application city cluster of fuel cell vehicles in Guangdong Province.
In terms of standardization construction, Foshan also has its own "kung fu". In October 2020, Foshan issued the Implementation Opinions on Promoting foshan standards and issued a special logo for Foshan standards. At present, there are 24 Foshan standards that have been formulated, and 126 products of 66 enterprises have passed the Foshan standard product evaluation. "Foshan will give full play to its own advantages, use green and low-carbon development, provide operable, replicable and generalizable Foshan practices and Foshan models for the whole country, and contribute to the development of China's green transformation and development." Deng Canrong said.
Zhao Penggao, deputy director of the Department of Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection of the National Development and Reform Commission, said that in the context of China's efforts to achieve the goal of "double carbon", the China Institute of Standardization organized this meeting in a very timely and very important manner, which will promote green and low-carbon standards to play a basic and guiding role, effectively expand the supply of green and low-carbon products, and promote green, low-carbon and high-quality economic and social development. Next, the National Development and Reform Commission will make overall plans to promote carbon peaking and carbon neutrality; adhere to the dual control of energy consumption, dig deep into the potential of energy conservation work; and give full play to the support and leading role of standards.
"Foshan is an important manufacturing production base in China and the only comprehensive reform pilot for the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry in China. This conference has built a platform for all parties in the society to exchange learning and share experience, and build a bridge to promote the development of green and low-carbon transformation and promote the concept of green production and consumption. Li Zhiping, vice president of the China Institute of Standardization, said.
