Chosin Lake movie poster
In 1950, when Chinese volunteers and U.S. troops engaged the U.S. army in the Chosin Lake area of Korea, the 9th Corps of the Chinese Volunteer Army divided and surrounded more than 1 division of the U.S. Army in the Chosin Lake area, annihilating more than 13,000 enemy troops and reversing the situation on the battlefield.
This campaign recovered a vast area in the east north of the 38th Parallel, which was a key battle to turn the situation around, and the Chinese Volunteer Army also paid a tragic sacrifice, in the extreme weather of more than 30 degrees Celsius below zero, many martyrs were frozen in a posture of holding guns, reflecting the revolutionary spirit of the volunteer soldiers who obeyed the order to see death as if they were returning home, frozen into ice sculptures and did not flinch.
