Fourth: Xu Zonggan sings the Six Views of Yanyuan
We want to enter Xu's Yanyuan through ancient documents, first of all, to see the works of Xu Zonggan himself.
The so-called six views of Yanyuan are Daoguang Gengyin (ten years, 1830), Xu Zonggan wrote a group poem of "Yanyuan Miscellaneous Songs" after entering Yanyuan, which wrote about the six scenes of Yanyuan.

In this hall, because the eyes are full of mountains, it is like the clouds are opening up and swinging their chests, full of greenery and greenery, which is pleasant. Baoshan Hall is also a place to study the golden stone. During the second and third years of Daoguang, He Shaoji and Jiang Yinpei, the owner of yanyuan at that time, were in the Baoshan Hall and others "examined Yi instruments, talked about the tablet version, peeled the fruit and called the cup, and were full of happiness." This autumn exposure is a classic. "Mencius Tengwen Official Chapter Sentence" "Confucius in the past did not ... This means that Confucius died, and Zengzi did not agree that Zixia and others wanted to honor Youruo with the etiquette of respecting Confucius. Zeng Zi said: "No, for example, once washed with the water of Jianghan, once exposed to the summer sun, (Confucius) is really white beyond measure." "Yanyuan Autumn Exposure Platform quotes this classic, which really shows that autumn exposure is not only basking in the sun, but also a baptism of body and mind."

(Li Ji Li 10), "Pine, the length of a hundred trees, Ju gong, so the word from the gong." ("Words Say") and so on. It is worth noting that Xu Zonggan deliberately transplanted dozens of Taishan pine plants from the Taishan he was employed, and established the name of ChaoBa with the ambition of Ming Andangpo, which is really valuable.

Judging from the name, it should be a water pavilion built on the edge of a spring or a stream. Its regulation is "counting rafters" houses, but there is a paradise beauty ("far away from the dust"), in particular, the water pavilion is the jujube tree, the jujube flower aroma is rich, in addition, there is a wood tree (osmanthus flower) fragrance, far away, not far away, but fragrant far away, which is the salient feature of the above two flowers. In addition, the most rare thing is the elegance of the ancient rhyme of the piano book here. This is really a place suitable for "static ginseng", Xiao Ai, mugwort, stinky grass. The ancients used it as a metaphor for people with bad qualities. Xu Zonggan said: In the elegant Far Champs, there is no room for these little people to move.
It is a high pavilion where you can listen to the sound of the spring. Here, you can listen to the golden thread springs gushing out of the ground, the water and stone stirring each other like the sound of knocking gold and jade, the sound of thin slips like a long tune, elegant and beautiful, the sound of the angry waves is just like beating the golden drum, heroic and vigorous. This is a natural sound, a "knower" sound from the ancient times.
It is a boat-shaped building next to the Golden Thread Pond (or Gargoyle Pond). Because the golden thread pond is too small to sail ("the pool is small and cannot be knifed"), this boat makes up for the pleasure of rowing ("In this boat, please go up and down the aftermath"), in addition, the poet also lists the beautiful time and space scenery on the boat: the beautiful red indigo in autumn, the leisurely white gull in the pond, the elegant carved fence between the flowers and the moon, and the warm feeling of the lighted house on a stormy night. Xu Zonggan once said in other poems that this was his living room.

Why dare to call it "Gao Zhen Lingxiu", because "Qiu Wei naturally knotted", rather than creating some rockeries and fake waters. What is particularly shocking is the inscription of Yan Yuan: "Gao Zhen Lingxiu's Residence, Zuo Tian Shi Shu; Baoshan Tang'er, Shi'an Xiangguo Shu", Zuo Tian Shi, Jia Daojian Libu Shangshu, Hubu Shangshu Huang Yu (Zi Zuo Tian) is also; Shi'an Xiangguo, Qianlong Body Renge University Scholar Liu Yong (No. Shi An) is also, what kind of characters are these, among them, some from Jiang Yinpei's relationship (such as Baoshan Tang'er), and some from Xu Zonggan (Huang Yu was The seat teacher of Xu Zonggan when Daoguang twenty-five years of Gengchen examination). With these high-ranking officials and famous calligraphers in the sea, it really adds a lot of color to the famous garden.

How influential did this calligraphy and painting of Huang Yu and Liu Yong have at that time? Huang Yu, according to the "Draft History of the Qing Dynasty", is written: "Huang Yu was rewarded by ren and Xuan Teda, and was rewarded for his calligraphy and paintings. "Just imagine, there are works that the emperor admires, and its level should be so good! Liu Yong, on the other hand, is a famous calligrapher, a master of the thesis, and is known as one of the four great calligraphers of the Qing Dynasty.
What is the specific manifestation of this "natural hill"? Xu Zonggan wrote two points: one is "Cuiling Dangmen", a thousand Buddha Mountains are like a few clicks, thick green can be lifted; the second is "Red Springs and Wells", the springs and streams are muddy, and a mountain forest atmosphere; the poet drinks tea and tea in the middle of it, feeling refreshed.
In addition, Jinan Spring Lake is everywhere, the harbors are staggered, and its benefits of puyu are rare in the north, which greatly satisfies Xu Zonggan in Jiangnan. He said: Although he can't get it if he wants to be disarmed and returned to the field, living in seclusion in Yanyuan is also relaxed and pleasant.

Pavilion, a kind of building in the old times, is generally two-storey, surrounded by windows, mostly built on a high place, which can be seen from a high distance. From a poetic point of view, this pavilion is a place for poets and friends and relatives to entertain each other with poetry and wine, and to talk about the night of the bed, outside the window, red lotus and green willows, swimming fish and cicadas, the scenery is elegant, indoors, although it is the hot summer of June, and the house is deep and cool. The most pleasant thing is to wake up on a summer night and see the beautiful hazy magpie smoke and rain through the north window.
In this way, with the addition of the above six scenes, there are as many as eight scenes of Yanyuan.
